At Stirling Heights Long Term Care Centre, Cambridge on Sunday, April 27, 2003, in her ninety-third year. Florence LeTouzel (nee Williams) is the beloved wife of the late Howard LeTouzel, dear mother of Patricia LeTouzel Skene of Nashville, Tennessee. Loved grandmother of Lana, Geoffrey and Rodrick Skene, great-grandmother of Shawn, Collin and Tyler. Dear god-mother to Steven Steele LeLacheur and his wife Johanne of Cambridge. Also lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews and also survived by a sister-in-law, Iris Williams. She was predeceased by a sister Marjorie LeLacheur and a brother Raymond Williams. Special thanks to Steven & Johanne LeLacheur, Barry & Darlene Williams and to the staff of Stirling Heights Long Term Care Centre, especially those of the Cabral House. On Monday, April 28, 2003 surrounded by her four daughters and sister Carol, Eleanor left this world with the blessings and love of her family to be rejoined with her soul mate Douglas David Mason, after twenty years since his passing. Eleanor is survived by her four daughters Sandy, Lesley (Walsh), Pam (McCall), and Lorna (Henderson). She will be sadly missed by her three sons-in-law Colin, Nick and James. She left a legacy of five loving grandchildren to be remembered by Malanie and Brandon Walsh, Austin and Kendal McCall, and Mason Henderson. Eleanor believed strongly in the family unit and will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sister Carol and husband Roly Andrews and brothers John Jenkins and recently departed Bill Jenkins. She also leaves her family ties with her cousins Meriam (Moeller) Matz, Norman and Clarice Moeller, Vivian (Jenkins) Grant, Harold Jenkins, Cameron and Virgina Garrett, Irene Stewart, Judy McKay, Frank and Anne Tibbetts, Susan and Ray Canon, her sister-in-law Merilyn Jenkins and all her wonderful nieces and nephews and many cherished friends. Eleanor was the daughter of Mildred and Harry Jenkins and was born in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia on May 23, 1923. Eleanor moved to Montreal where she met her true love Doug. They were married in N.D.G., Montreal in 1949 and lived for thirty years in Quebec City before moving to Mississauga. Mom will be resting at Turner & Porter "Peel" Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga, Ontario L5B 1M8, (905) 279-7663. Graham, CM MD (Shannon) of Toronto; and Charlie Graham of San Francisco; by her daughter-in-law, Catherine W. Graham of Ottawa; by five grandchildren, John R. Graham of Vancouver, Alex E. Graham (Karen Madorsky) of Rye, New York; Mark Graham (Catherine) of Toronto; Heather Graham of Toronto, and Suzanne Graham of Edmonton; by two great-grandchildren, Olivia and Caroline; by her cousin, Corinne "Clou" Kernan Sevigny (Pierre) of Montreal; by her nieces, Linda Hill of Worcester, New York and Betsy Givins Baillie (John) of Wolfville, N.S. and their families; and by her friend, Mary Jane Peel. TAILLON, Olivier "Pitt" The family announces with sorrow, his death in Sudbury, Wednesday, April 30, 2003 at the age of 74 years. Son of the late Jean "Johnny" Taillon and of the late Albertine Taillon (née Binette). Loving brother of Jeanne Pitre (husband Constant predeceased) of Wahnapitae, Hélène Michel (husband Henri predeceased) of St. Catharines and Arthur Taillon (wife Anita) of Sturgeon Falls. Predeceased by his brothers, Albert (wife Rose predeceased), Joseph (wife Albertine of Sudbury), Jean, Tom (wife Dorothy of Sault Ste. Marie) and Alphonse (wife Rhéa of Sudbury). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews, Michel, Mariette, Pauline, Gisèle, Lorraine, Jeannine, Diane, Denise, Marc, Lise, Louise, Bob (Robert), Jean-Louis and Lise, as well as by his many grand nieces and grand nephews and his many friends. A pioneer of the Noëlville area, Mr. Taillon was a farmer. Pitt had an amazing memory for people and places. He truly was a great resource for family and community history. He was an avid outdoorsman and mostly enjoyed trapping. Of Lac Ste-Marie, passed away Sunday, April 27th, 2003 at the Maniwaki Hospital, at the age of 77. Predeceased by his parents, brother Charles, sister Maureen and dear friend Denise Corkery. He leaves to mourn his children Michael (Sylvie Picard), Eveline (Chris Millington), Dorothy, Robert, Julieanne and Patricia (Gary Baker), former spouse Carol, 10 beautiful grandchildren, loving sister Barbara (Ray Belway) and many nieces and nephews. Brian graduated from St-Patrick's College, Ottawa and was a W.W.II Veteran Airgunner in the R.C.A.F. attached to a Fighter Squadron in Zweibrucken Germany. He flew 55 missions with the U.S. Airforce during the Korean War. He was an accomplished artist, craftsman, linguist, outdoorsman and poet. He loved life and above all his family. Il fut Fellows de l'Institut des Assurances du Canada et a servi à titre de président de la section de Montréal de 1984 à 1985. Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse Marie Doring, ses frères Pierre (Céline Galarneau), Guy (Janine Tremblay), ses soeurs Denyse (Paul Rémillard) et Jacqueline (Gilbert Bélanger) ainsi que de nombreux neveux et nièces et amis. Il fut précédé dans la mort par son épouse Gisèle Bazinet et sa fille adoptive Suzanne. He was a member of the Society of Fellows of the Insurance Institution of Canada and served as president of the Montreal sector of that organization from 1984-85. He is survived by his wife Marie (Doring), brothers Pierre (Celine Galareau), Guy (Janne Trembley), sisters Denyse (Paul Remillard) and Jacqueline (Gilbert Belanger) as well as numerous nephews, nieces and friends. He was preceeded in death by his wife Giselle (Basinet) and adopted daughter Suzanne. A mass of the Resurrection will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday May 3 at St. Maxime Catholic Church, 3700 Levesque Blvd., Chomedey, Laval. BECKETT, Emma - Passed away suddenly at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Sunday, April 27, 2003 at the age of 88. Loving mother of Elizabeth Baker of Las Vegas, Nevada, Margaret Mulhern of West Hartford, Connecticut and Richard Lea of Vancouver. Cherished grandmother of Jamie Mulhern of New Hampshire and great-grandmother of two children. Dear sister of Edith Arnold and Mabel Arch of Niagara Falls and sister-in-law of Elsie Beckett of Simcoe. Predeceased by her parents John and Mabel Beckett and her brother Bill Beckett. Emma had harmoniously lived with her sisters for the past three years at Willoughby Manor and her crowning moment was when she was voted "Queen for a Year" by the residents in 2002. There will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place with interment at a later date in Scotland, Ontario. A Memorial Service in celebration of Emma's life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 4th at Willoughby Manor, 3584 Bridgewater St.
