In loving memory of Henry Comor, age 71 years, Saturday morning, March 9, 2002, peacefully at home. He was a man of passion, generousity, humour and intelligence. Born in Manchester, England, he began his career as a stage actor and director in the U.K. before coming to Canada in 1956. He became a well known radio, television and stage actor, writer and director. He was also an ardent defender of Canadian culture. From 1964 to 1968, he served as National President of the Association of Canadian Television and Radio Artists (ACTRA). Among his many other endeavours, Henry wrote and hosted CBC radio's "Hermit's Choice" from 1963 to 1968. From 1975 to 1982 he was in charge of broadcast journalism training for the CBC. Among his many television credits, he was the writer and host of "The Lively Arts" and the writer, host and supervising producer of "The Medicine Show". Later in his life, he worked as a media consultant and wrote radio dramas for both the BBC and CBC, including the acclaimed play "The Pact". Henry Comor will be forever missed and always cherished by Jill, his loving wife and best friend of 44 years, his 3 children, Will, Emily and Edward, and by his grandchildren, Rosie, Caleb, Jacqueline and Jacob. LARRIVIERE, Eva (Yvonne) - 1926-2002 -In loving memory of Eva Larriviere who passed away at the North Bay General Hospital (Scollard Site), Thursday, March 14, 2002 at the age of 75. Left to treasure her memory are her three daughters; Jane (Maurice Ducharme) of Sturgeon Falls, Diane Guérin (Daniel Dokis) of Dokis Bay and Dorothy (Ken Pomerleau) of Noelville.
