Peacefully at St. Mary's Hospital in her one hundred and first year on the night of Thursday, November 15, 2001. She is pre-deceased by her husband Kenneth Walbank. She is survived by her younger brother Jack Wyatt, by her loving niece and care-giver Ann Dalton, her nephews, David Walker (Natalie) and Reg Walker (Valerie), her great-nieces Catherine Dalton (Michael Boudreau) and Mary Dalton (Alan Clark), her great-nephew Peter Dalton (Sigrid) and many other family members in Ontario, British Columbia, New Brunswick and England and many close friends in Vermont. Born December 27, 1900, the fourth of seven children, to Emma and Thomas Wyatt. She leaves a large void in all of our lives and hearts. She will be dearly missed and never forgotten. The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital in Summerside, P.E.I., after a courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, October 25, 2001 at age 51. Born in Toronto, she was the daughter of the late John and Harriet Locock. She, with her husband, began their early family years together in Toronto, moving to Montreal in 1950. Her life was filled with her family, including many nieces and nephews, and supporting her husband's many interests and activities. Her own special interests and work were directed towards the United Nations Association, Home and School Associations and her local United Church. Very peacefully at Groves Park Lodge, Renfrew, on November 16, 2001 with her family by her side. Mrs. Rose Mary Wren in her 91st year. Born in Douglas, Ontario, she is the daughter of the late William and Rose Anne English (Gallagher). Predeceased by her husband John Joseph, son Jim and son-in-law Robert Olson, her sisters Beatrice Shehan, Willo Fournier, Elizabeth Sullivan, Evelyn Moran and her brothers M.J. and William Joseph English. She was a loving mother to all her children. She is survived by her son John (Audrey), daughter Rita Olson, Clare Kilroy (Tom), Irene Kumli (Paul) and a treasured daughter Mary Catherine Wren. Rose Mary was a wonderful grandmother to eight grandchildren, Jim and Kelly Wren, Amanda and Jason Wren, Cathleen Olson (Jean Lazure), Krista Olson, Katie and Matthew Kilroy. She is survived by many nieces and nephews whom she treasured dearly. We love you mother and you will be in our hearts forever.
