1918 - 2001 Elizabeth Bishop passed away on Monday, May 28, 2001, at the Queensway Carleton Hospital with her husband and son by her side. Beloved wife of George Albert Bishop; mother of Archibald Stewart Milloy (Rhoda) and dear grandmother of Claire and Duncan Milloy. Cherished sister of Helena Welsh, Peter Genari and the late Piet Rautenbach. Lovingly remembered by nieces and nephews Denise and Ian Charles, Judith and Piet Broodryk, Sandra and Adri Gort, Pieter and Valerie Rautenbach, Peter and Ursula Genari and their families in England, Holland, New Zealand, South Africa and Zimbabwe. WALTER CARIBOU SR. Walter Caribou Sr. passed away Sunday, May 20, 2001 in Grand Portage, Mn. He was born Dec. 25, 1914 in Minnesota. He was united in marriage to the former Alma Redsky of Lac La Croix. Walter lived in Nett Lake and Grand Portage most of his life. He was predeceased by his two sisters, Mrs. Agnus Goodsky and Mrs. Elizabeth Boshey; and four children, Florence, Isabelle, Alvin, and Violet Walsh. Walter is survived by his wife, Alma; two sons, Walter Jr. and Gilbert; one daughter, Judy of Denver, Col.; one adopted son, Billy Blackwell; and seven grandchildren, Gord and Faron Caribou, and Elaine Walsh, all of Fort Frances, Ont., and Lynn Marie, Cheryl, Jennifer, and Jill of Minnesota. Funeral services were held Thursday, May 24, 2001 in Grand Portage, Mn.

Peacefully, with her children at her side, at the Villa Marguerite on Saturday, May 26, 2001 in her 89th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband Walter Bezanson. Treasured mother of Keith, Lynne and Timothy and their spouses, Monique, Alan and Dana. Dear sister of Timothy Burke; cherished grandmother of Kathryn, Sarah, Lisa, Paul and Julia; much loved member of the extended family of Amy Baele and the Landsberg sons, daughters-in-law and their children, and dear friend to many. Hers was a life filled with love, song and laughter. She leaves us with boundless memories of her generosity and lilting sense of humour. The family wishes to express enormous gratitude to the caring staff of Unitarian House and Villa Marguerite for their gifts over the years of tenderness and dedication. Friends may attend a Service at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street on Wednesday May 30th at 11 a.m. and join the family at a reception which will follow.
