(nee Hamilton) Kelly Rae Marie passed away April 26th peacefully at home surrounded by her family. She fought a two year battle with brain tumours. She is survived by her husband Patrick, sons Chris and Scott, sister Laura (Ralph) Asbury of St. Albert, Alberta, parents Les and Bea Hamilton of Calgary and a nephew Danny Hamilton of St. Albert. Kelly was born in Calgary and attended St. Margaret and St. Frances schools graduating in 1981. She worked in the oil industry for several years prior to career moves to the Vancouver area and later to the Ottawa suburb of Blackburn Hamlet. Kelly was born to be a mother and a volunteer who spent much time at the schools and pre-school. The outpouring of generosity and help from her many friends over the last two years attest to their love for her. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at Good Shepherd Church on May 1st at 1:00 p.m. with inurnment in St. Mary's Cemetery in Navan. Ottawa Citizen, April 28, 2001

Baby David was born on April 20, 2000. All too soon he left us for a better place. He died peacefully at CHEO on April 25, 2001, after succumbing to a type of metabolic encephalopathy about which there is little known. David was the treasured son of Lynn Gutoskie. He delighted all those who knew him, especially Grandma and Grandpa, Helen and Basil Gutoskie of Barry's Bay. He will be missed by Uncle Frank, his godfather, and Beth Lalonde, his godmother, mourned by Uncle Gerry and Aunt Bobbie, and remembered by his father, David Clendining. Warmest thanks to the staff at CHEO who did all that they could, and, in many cases, far more than they had to. So that others in the future may have the same wonderful support and expert care that we received during our stay, donations to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at CHEO or Ronald McDonald House (c/o CHEO, 401 Smyth Road, Ottawa, ON) would be very much appreciated.
