Peacefully at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, after a long, happy, and productive life on Wednesday, April 18, 2001, in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Bennett (Mac) B. McEwen. Loving mother of Sue and her husband Dick Bodell of Kitchener, and Jane McEwen and her husband Bill Duncan of Vancouver, B.C. Cherished grandmother of Michael and Meredith Bodell, and Jenny and Claire Duncan. Sister-in-law of Sally Robinson. Predeceased by her brother Robie Robinson. Margaret was born and raised in Napanee, Ontario where she met Mac. They were married in Ottawa in 1944. They shared an incredible love for each other and their family and we are blessed as a family to have been surrounded by their love. Marg and Mac spent many happy years in Ottawa, New Smyrna Beach, Florida and Vancouver. Marg returned to Ontario in 1997. Died in the Glenmore Park Palliative Ward on Monday, April 16, 2001 after a long struggle with cancer. She was born in Montreal in September 1915. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from McGill University in 1937, and married Charles Corneil on March 8, 1941. Pat and Chuck shared a long and happy life for fifty-five years. Pat loved life, learning and people of all ages. Her family and many friends will miss her positive attitude, kindness to all, and her strong support to those in need. Patience is survived by two daughters, Gail and her husband David; and Penny Butcher; five grandchildren: Dr. Tara O'Brien and her husband John Marley,and Shaun O'Brian all of Toronto, Matthew O'Brien and his wife Elizabeth of San Francisco, CA, Sean Butcher of Tampa, Florida, and Neal Butcher of San Diego, CA. (nee MacNeil) Passed away peacefully with family by her side Tuesday, April 17, 2001. Mary was predeceased by two husbands, William Cyples (RCAF), 1944 and Roy Harnett (RCN), 1997, a son Alex, 1996, her parents Michael MacNeil from Sydney, NS and Nathalie Blanchard from Richbucto, NB and sister Anne, 1999, of Dartmouth, NS. Our cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, Mary, will be missed by her children, Mickey Cyples (Judy) of Halifax, Christine (Alvin Schulz) of Calgary, Fred of Ottawa, Neil (Christine) of Kingston and Cathy (Al McNaught) of Ottawa; 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; also by her sister Natalie Dewling and nephew Frank and family of London and numerous friends. Mary was born at home in Halifax on a wintry day, February 23, 1918. She enjoyed a very happy life between Halifax, McNab's Island and Dartmouth. Spring and Easter were Mom's most favourite time of the year. Mom loved to swim, skate, sing and dance. She married Bill in 1939, gave birth to Mickey in March 1941, Bill died during the 2nd World War. Mom worked in Stadacona during the war; she loved her position and enjoyed the people she worked with. In 1947 Mary met and married Roy and they had 5 children. In 1963 Mom and Dad moved to Ottawa where they remained. Mom was a wonderful mother; a beautiful person; was very active in her church; was a dedicated volunteer and loved to bowl. Mary was very outgoing and caring and would do anything for anyone. Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of the Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road, Nepean (between Bayshore and Baseline Rd). Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, 12:30 p.m. at St. John the Apostle, 2340 Baseline Road, Nepean, officiated by Father Frank Scott and Father Joe Muldoon; reception to follow in the church hall. Burial at Capital Memorial Gardens. Mary truly loved children and they brought her great joy. It would be wonderful if, in lieu of flowers, donations to a children's charity (i.e. Ronald McDonald House, any Children's Hospital), could be made in her name. "Love and God's richest blessings". À l’Hôpital St-François d’Assise, le 15 avril 2001, à l’âge de 68 ans et 1 mois, est décédé M. Honorius Dorion, fils de feu Charles- Aimé Dorion et de feu Dame Marie-Blanche Trudel. Il demeurait à Québec. Selon ses volontés il a été confié au crématorium. Une cérémonie de la liturgie de la parole se fera en présence des cendres le samedi 21 avril 2001 à 11h30 au funérarium de la Coopérative funéraire de l’Anse 7335 bd Henri-Bourassa Charlesbourg Où la famille recevra les condoléances de 10h00 à 12h00. Il laisse dans le deuil ses soeurs et ses frères: Soeur Jeannette M.N.D.A., Raymond, André, Ambroise (feu Gisèle Trudel), Cyrille et Blanche-Aimée, ainsi que de nombreux neveux, nièces, cousins, cousines et ami(e)s.
