He was predeceased by his wife Mildred Jardine and his brother Ernest. He is survived by his sister Madeline Jackson. Peacefully on March 1st, at Kingston General Hospital, Wendell Dorrington Carrothers in his 76th year. Del loved life and fought courageously to overcome unbeatable odds. He leaves his wife and soul mate Mary Jane and their five sons Del, Kerry, Dan, Robin and Mark of whom he was so proud and who, along with their wives, Carolyn, Debbie, Kim, Alice and Melanie, presented him with fifteen grandchildren. Del was a Chemical Engineer with Atomic Energy of Canada, an avid collector of toys, model cars and boats. He loved antiques, cars and canoe trips but his passion was his family. It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Constance Jezyk Thomas on March 3, 2001 at the Royal Victoria Hospital at the age of fifty-five years. Connie is survived by her loving partner Steve Karlovits and surviving brother (Tony) Anthony Podurgiel. She will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews Deborah, Joseph, Brenda, and Ronald Podurgiel. As well as her sister-in-laws and numerous friends. Connie was predeceased by her mother Lucia Witwieka and father Walter Jezyk. And older brother Joseph Podurgiel. Her love of animals, life and genuine concern about people and their well being will be absent and missed. On March 4, 2001, in hospital after unexpected complications resulting from surgery, at age 78 years. Predeceased by his beloved wife, Barbara, and his brother Clifton Dale. He will be sadly missed by his daughter Nancy (Peter), his son Steven (Amber), and his "favourite" granddaughter, Lindsay. He will also be missed by close family and by his many friends, especially those he curled and golfed with and his colleagues in the Ottawa Valley Turf Grass Association.
