Il était professeur titulaire de la Faculté de médecine de l’Université Laval. Il a aussi occupé le poste de Directeur adjoint de la Faculté des Études Supérieures pendant plus de 10 ans. Il était le père de Philippe (Karin S.), Catherine (Serge Tourangeau) et Charles (Marie-Annie Poudrier), ainsi que l’opa d’Isabelle, Raphaël et [D....], le grand-papa d’Amélie-Anne et de Marc-Antoine. Il était le frère de Yolande Lemay (feu Paul) de Shawinigan, de Jean- Jacques de Montréal, de Pierre (Michèle Lamothe) de Trois-Rivières et de Marie Capone (feu Sam) d’Albanie, N.Y.
