He is survived by his beloved brother Roland (Rita) of North Bay, Ontario and by his nine children: Stephen (Judy) of Stratford, Robert (Diane) of Toronto, Edward of Mississauga, Marc (Celine) of North Bay, William of North Bay, Anne Marie (Joerg Matschullat) of Freiberg, Germany, John of Petawawa, Florence Friel (Vincent) of Barrie, and Teresa (Andrew Fox) of Calgary; and his 13 wonderful grandchildren: Kristin, John, Joshua, Adam, Christian, Ezra, Alexandra, Amy, Thomas, Catherine, Jane, Rae and Fiona. Paul served his country proudly during WWII in the RCAF and later in the Canadian Army Medical Corps with NATO. Most of his medical career was spent serving as Medical Officer of Health for North Bay and District, and before that as Medical Officer in Cornwall, Ontario. He spent many happy retirement years with his wife Marie at both Aylen Lake and in Tampa Florida. Paul loved the outdoors, had many interests and hobbies including golfing, gardening, and beekeeping. He will be remembered for his gentleness and his kindness, and his devotion to God, to his wife, to his children.
