(nee McConnell) Kimberley was in her 45th year when she peacefully passed away with dignity, courage and grace from melanoma cancer, at her home in Stratford, Saturday, January 20th, 2001. Beloved wife of Andy Foster and loving mother of daughter Madison and son Casson. Predeceased by son Max (1990). Beloved daughter of ArleyAnn McConnell of Ottawa and the late James (Jim) McConnell (1998). Sister of Janet McConnell, Chris McConnell and wife Linda, Cheryl Bennett and husband David, and sister-in-law of Pauline McConnell, all of Ottawa, Mic McConnell and wife Sylvie of Biloxi, Mississippi. Dearly loved daughter-in-law of Dr. Maurice Foster and wife Janet of Ottawa. Sister-in-law of Peter Foster, James (Jim) Foster and wife Joanne of Ottawa and Peggy Foster of Hamilton. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends in Stratford, Toronto, Ottawa and Desbarats. Kim was a graduate of the Sheridan College Graphic Design course in Oakville in 1981. She worked in Toronto at Canadian Business Magazine, Carpenter & Company, Royal Ontario Museum, Comac Communications / Ontario Living Magazine and Mary O'Neil and Associates. Since moving to Stratford in 1991, Kim has been a dedicated stay-at-home mother raising her children Madison and Casson. She has also volunteered in many worthy community groups and associations: Kids First Parents Association; Avon Co-op Nursery School - Co-President, 1997/98; Hamlet Public School Council - Chair, 1998/99; Gecko Co-operators Dragon Boat Festival Team Manager, 1998/99/2000; Big Brothers and Sisters of Stratford - Volunteer Fundraiser, 1999/2000; Assistant soccer coach; Brownies/Guides helper, YMCA Special Olympics Swim Meet and Classroom Parent Volunteer. She also worked at the Stratford Festival in the Call Centre/Ticket Office on a seasonal basis since 1992. Recently she was promoted to the position of Travel Trade Co-ordinator. A private funeral service will be held Wednesday afternoon. Reg.N. At Lanark Lodge, Perth on Sunday January 21, 2001 Victoria C. Brown passed away 2 days prior to her 100th birthday. Victoria retired in 1970 following over 40 years of dedicated service as a Registered Nurse at the G.W.M. Hospital in Perth. She was a member of the Catholic Womens League for over 50 years. She was predeceased by her parents Robert and Susan (Griffin) Brown, her sisters Mae Deegan and Harriet Brown, brothers Jack, Alfred and Gerald Brown and her special niece Norma Ryan. Victoria will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by all of her nieces and nephews and their families, especially the children of the late Norma and Terrance Ryan. Also survived by brother-in-law Jean-Marc Lafleur (Marie-Paul Gervais) and sister-in-law Noella Larocque. He also leaves nephews, nieces and friends. He was retired from the Public Service Commission of Canada after 33 years of service and also an old member and secretary of the Canadian French Institute of Ottawa.
