Suddenly after a lengthy illness, at the Ottawa Hospital Civic Campus on Monday, January 8, 2001. Sidonie Edith Marshall (nee Robins) in her 80th year. Beloved wife of J. Lawrence Marshall. Loving mother of Brian (Janet) of Toronto, Robin (Kathleen) of Kentville, N.S. and Susan Moore (Shawn) of Waverly, N.S. Grandmother of Lara Kalins, James Marshall and Heidi Moore and great-grandmother of two. Predeceased by sisters, Doris and Freda. Born and raised in Watrous, Saskatchewan, Sidonie gave much of her time to worthy causes including becoming a young CO of the Watrous Women's Military Reserve in the W.W. II period. While living in the Montreal area of Baie d'Urfe (1946 to 1977) Sidonie joined and later led the I.O.D.E. Chapter and spent most of her weekdays as a volunteer at the Veteran's Hospital in Ste. Annes de Bellvue, where she became head of the group. Upon moving to Ottawa in 1977, her declining health gradually reduced her activity in the volunteer service. Friends may visit at the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 150 Woodroffe Avenue, Ottawa, at Richmond Road, on Saturday, January 13 after 10 a.m. Funeral Service to follow in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Private Cremation. He is survived by his loving wife Jean (Duffy), as well as his children by his first wife (the late Edna Tecter), Roy, Bernice and Lois. John Anderson, 54 John Anderson died suddenly Dec. 30, 2000. He was 54 years old. Mr. Anderson is survived by and will be dearly missed by his wife Norah of 32 years; his son Michael Jesse, mother Beatrice Anderson (nee Martineau); sisters Susan (Fred) Visser and Carole (Laurie) Clifford; as well as many nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Mr. Anderson was predeceased by his father Jack Anderson in 1991. He had volunteered much of his time to many community events, especially minor hockey and amateur boxing. Il était retraité de l’enseignement depuis 1983 et rendait différents services à sa communauté. Au Centre hospitalier Région de l’Amiante, le vendredi 5 janvier 2001, à l’âge de 64 ans et 10 mois, est décédé subitement M. Camil Chabot, fils de feu Rosario Chabot et de feu Antoinette Tanguay, demeurant à Saint-Prosper. La famille vous accueillera à la résidence funéraire J. Rosario Chabot 3526, 20e Avenue Saint-Prosper vendredi de 13h30 à 16h30 et de 19h à 22h, samedi, jour des funérailles, à compter de 9h jusqu’à 10h40. Le service religieux sera célébré le samedi 13 janvier 2001 à 11h, en l’église de Saint-Prosper et de là au cimetière de Saint-Zacharie, sous la direction de la maison J.R. Chabot 3530, 20e Avenue Saint-Prosperde- Beauce Il était le frère de Armandine (Florian Lebel), Jeanne D’Arc (Edgar Mallet), feu Richard (feu Laurette Shink), Vincent (Paula Poulin), Viateur (Lise Roy), Françoise (Charles Morin), Marguerite (Robert St-Pierre), Raymonde (Roland Gagné), Pauline (Ghislain Turgeon), Huguette (Ghislain Guay), Marcelle (Gaétan Boissonneault); il laisse aussi dans le deuil sa tante Emma Tanguay (feu Lucien Auclair); ses neveux et nièces, cousins et cousines et de nombreux amis, amies. Un remerciement spécial au personnel et l’équipe médicale des soins intensifs du C.H. Régional de l’Amiante pour l’attention particulière apportée à Camil lors de son séjour au département.
