Selon ses volontés, elle ne sera pas exposée. Le service religieux sera célébré en présence du corps, le jeudi 11 janvier à 14h, en l’église de Château-Richer, où les membres de la famille se rendront une heure avant la cérémonie pour recevoir les condoléances. Passed away at the age of 27, Sunday January 7, 2001 after a lifelong battle with Cystic Fibrosis. He follows his mother, Patricia Kolesar (Davidson) who passed away January 19, 2000. His father Lawrence Kolesar and two brothers David and John of Gatineau survive him. He also leaves uncles and aunts Michael and Ada Kolesar, Donald and Gloria Davidson, John and Pat Davidson, along with cousins and many other friends especially Julia Lyons, Laura Hogan, Diane and Judith. Special appreciation is extended to all that helped in his struggle. Particular thanks to the staff of the Cystic Fibrosis Clinic in Ottawa, the staff of the Intensive Care Unit at the Ottawa General Hospital, nurse Raymond Boucher and the rest of the CLSC staff, physiotherapist Colette Gareau, and Dr. Elizabeth Tullis of the St. Michael Hospital CF Clinic in Toronto. A life rich with faith, hope, determination, and strong opinions, he now joins his mother with Christ. We will all miss you Ed. Elisa and her husband came to Canada from her native Italy in 1951, settling in Toronto until 1989, when they moved to Ottawa. Elisa was active in her community in Toronto, and always believed she had a responsibility to contribute to building a good society. She worked for many years with the Royal Bank of Canada as a loans officer. Elisa was a strong and incredibly sweet person, and will be sadly missed by her family and friends. She is survived in Italy by her cousins, Carina and Gaetanina Fadini; brother-and-sister-in-law, Giorgio Costigliola and Liliana Costigliola; nephew, Paolo and niece, Cristina. Predeceased by her beloved mother Luisa Scarcella; father, Franco Scarcella; and brother, Ettore. Loved mother of Mary of Toronto and Lisa of Ottawa. Dear sister of Kathleen of Georgia, Dorothy of Leamington, Robert and Marcia, Len and Jill, all of London, and sister-in-law of Henriette Parent of Chatham, Fran Parent of Brantford, Clare and Sharron Parent of Windsor. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Helen was a teacher for the London District Catholic School Board and formerly with the Windsor Essex County Separate School Board. She was loved by children and was an adopted grandmother of many. Friends will be received at the M.D. Smith Funeral Home, 69 Wellington Street North, Woodstock on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Rita's Catholic Church on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Interment Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery.
