As the result of an accident near Brockville on January 3rd, 2001; Patrick Lynal McGee at the age of 71 years. Beloved husband of the late Shirley Mary Chisholm. Loving father of Nancy C. Miller of Whitby, Lois E. Belan of Mississauga, Patrick J. McGee of Ganges, B.C., Michael L. McGee of Medicine Hat, Alberta, and Owen J. McGee of Bell Ewart, Ontario. Fondly remembered by seven grandchildren. Dear brother of Lorena Hoppe of Fort Wright, Kentucky, Ronald McGee of North Delta, B.C., and Theresa Delorme of Gloucester. Also survived by his sister-in-law Laurette McGee of Winnipeg. Predeceased by his brothers James and Darcy and by his sister Lois. Passed away at Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital in Burlington, Ontario on Thursday, January 4, 2001, in his 91st year. Originally from Marysville, New Brunswick, resided and worked in Ottawa since 1957. Predeceased by his parents Frederick and Annie (Knowlan) Stafford and beloved wife Theresa (nee Doak), the mother of his children, and son Harry Jr., precious grandson Marc and brothers Charles and Dexter. Harry is survived by his loving wife Florence (nee McKenna), his son Carl (Audrey) of Burlington, Ontario and his daughters Roxanne, Masson-Angers, Quebec and Marguerite Thompson (John) of Nasonworth, New Brunswick, grandchildren Tracy, Sharon, Steven, Cathy, Michael, Carl and 10 great-grandchildren, all of whom will greatly miss him. Memorial service and interment arrangements at Holy Sepulchre in Burlington, Ontario to follow later. Of Calgary, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, January 5, 2001 at the age of 71 years. Paul was born on September 20, 1928 in Essex, England and immigrated to Canada in 1965. His career with the Federal Government spanned 25 years and culminated with his joining the Foreign Service. He was a world traveler who leaves behind so many friends, accomplishments and fond memories. With his family, he enjoyed a two-year adventure living in Japan and a lively four years in Seattle. Since his retirement from the Foreign Service, he has called Calgary home and started a new career in real estate. He was an avid woodworker and kept himself busy with numerous projects. He loved the game of soccer and played vigorously until the age of 60. He went on to coach both a children's soccer and baseball teams. Paul is survived by his loving wife, Paula, and his two children Jane-Amanda and Simon Hubbard. He is the loving grandfather of Hanako Louise, whom he delighted in since her birth on October 15, 2000. Sadly mourned by sisters, Rachel Coombs and Eileen Wool; brothers, Harold Hubbard and Chris Hubbard; and many nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by his son-in-law, Steven Radulovich, and daughter-in-law, Leslie Armvert. He was a loving husband, father, and friend. Many thanks for the excellent and compassionate care provided by Doctor Wasylenko and Nurse Marguerite Robinson and all the caring staff of the Calgary Palliative Home Care Program and the Foothills Dialysis Unit. OBC, RCA, Sculptor 1927 - 2001 Jack Kenneth Harman, born July 31, 1927 in Vancouver BC, died January 3, 2001 at St. Paul's Hospital in his 73rd year. Loving husband of Elaine and father to his daughter Melinda (Keath) Konings, son Stephen (Jen) Harman, grandchildren Michael and Katrina Konings and Alison and Benjamin Harman. Predeceased by his daughter Karen in 1998 and his brother Bill in 1967. He will be lovingly remembered by his aunt, Alice Dawson, brother Jim Harman, sisters Joan (Bill) McMynn and Diana (Howard) Coulter, sister-in-law Betty (Ken) Pullar and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
