OBC, RCA, Sculptor 1927 - 2001 Jack Kenneth Harman, born July 31, 1927 in Vancouver BC, died January 3, 2001 at St. Paul's Hospital in his 73rd year. Loving husband of Elaine and father to his daughter Melinda (Keath) Konings, son Stephen (Jen) Harman, grandchildren Michael and Katrina Konings and Alison and Benjamin Harman. Predeceased by his daughter Karen in 1998 and his brother Bill in 1967. He will be lovingly remembered by his aunt, Alice Dawson, brother Jim Harman, sisters Joan (Bill) McMynn and Diana (Howard) Coulter, sister-in-law Betty (Ken) Pullar and many nieces, nephews and cousins. The family wishes to thank the Doctors, nurses and volunteers on the palliative care ward at St. Paul's Hospital in Vancouver for their care and kindness. Jack spent his life as an artist, producing some of the finest sculptures to grace the cities of Vancouver, Toronto and Ottawa. He held the Order of BC and was a member of the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts. For the past 12 years he has made his home in Roberts Creek, British Columbia. Au Centre hospitalier Christ-Roi, le 3 janvier 2001, à l’âge de 83 ans, est décédé dame Jeanne-d’Arc Matte. Elle demeurait à Québec. Le service religieux sera célébré le samedi 6 janvier 2001 à 10h, en l’église St-Malo, 275, Marie-de-l’Incarnation (Québec). La famille recevra les condoléances à l’église une demi-heure avant la cérémonie. Elle laisse dans le deuil ses soeurs: Madeleine (feu Wilbrod Ross), Rita (feu Jean-Paul Filion); ses neveux et nièces: Guy Caouette (Réjeanne Leveillée), Nicole Caouette (Claude Boutin), Monique Caouette (Guy Couillard), Denis Ross (Lise Paquin), Susan Ross, Marc Filion (Diane Plamondon), Denise Filion, Johane Filion, Line Filion (Éric Schaub), Daniel Matte (Johane Lemieux), ainsi que ses cousins, cousines, parents et ami(e)s. Born January 11, 1911, passed on peacefully in her ninetieth year on January 3, 2001. Daughter of Colin Kerr Russel and Evelyn Molson. Beloved sister of Percival Molson Russel, the late Colin Molson Russel, the late Gwendolyn Molson Russel Doob and Ruth Molson Russel Wilson. Aunt to the late Dr. Barry Wilson, Dr. Joan Stogryn, Richard Wilson and Barbara Caseault, Blair Russel, Paul Russel, and great-nephews and nieces. Visitation at Wray Walton Wray Funeral Home, 1459 Towers Street, Montreal on Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral to be held at the Church of St. James the Apostle at the corner of Ste.
