Pearson a été incinéré et les cendres ont été déposées au cimetière Bégin. Il était le fils de feu Mme Mathilda Gagnon et de feu M. Thomas-Louis Pearson. LAROCQUE, Grace - (1943-2009) died on the 5th day of September of this year at the age of 66 after a difficult struggle with Leukemia. Born in Chapleau, Ontario on the 16th day of March 1943,Grace is predeceased by her parents Zephirin and Rita Larocque, and her brother Andre Larocque. Beloved wife of Robert Colquhoun and much loved mother of John Colquhoun (Jenny) and Robin Ferguson all of St. Catharines and daughter- in-law Laurie of St. Thomas. Doris is predeceased by her son Richard in 1998, and followed shortly thereafter by daughter- in-law Doreen. Son-in-law Don Ferguson passed away in 2005. Doris's parents, sisters and brother also predeceased her. MARYNICK, Helene (Helen) Elmire (nee Potvin) - Born May 8, 1920 in Haileybury, Ontario. A good and gracious soul completed her earthly journey quietly at Brantford General Hospital on September 4, 2009. Helen's Gallic flair and joie de vivre touched many lives as she travelled through life, replete with many side trips, stopovers and fellow travellers. Vivacious, intelligent , beautiful and loving, deeply impacting on those around her with her generosity and caring, she lived the life of an ordinary person in an extraordinary way. Predeceased by her husband John Marynick, brothers Emile, Albert, Edouard, Henri and Jean-Pierre, as well as sisters Emelia, Marion, Adrienne and Florence, Helen will be greatly missed by her brother Marcel Potvin and family of Ladysmith BC, son Barry Marynick and his wife Sharon of Richmond Hill, Grandson Kas Marynick and his partner Caroline Bolduc of Toronto, the Gordon Finch family of California and Bali Indonesia, Marina Finch of Barrie, Ontario and a legion of nieces, nephews and their children. Helen was deeply grateful and appreciative of the companionship of the late Jay Macdonald, her many friendships and especially in her latter years, those of Mary Mansour, Brenda Wright, Rita Spencer, the DeRosse family and Gren and Donna Schrader of Oakville. Special thanks go to Greg and Leslie Neid, who have a wonderful, caring staff at Riverview Terrace. There, for the last ten years of her life, Helen enjoyed her view of “the Avenue“. More special thanks are extended by the family to the staff on the 6th floor at the BGH, Dr. Johnston and Cathy Easterbrook for the kindness and sensitivity given to Helen and her family. While one's latter days can be fraught with difficulties, Helen was also given wonderful assistance through the Brantford CCAC. A deeply religious person, Helen was a life-long parishioner at St. Basil's fulfilling many roles in over 70 years of association there. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday September 9, at 10:00 AM at St. Basil's with interment at St. Joseph's cemetery followed by a reception in the Carriage House at Thorpe Brother's Funeral Home. Myra Anne Kelly Peacefully at Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Sunday, September 6, 2009, of Myra Anne Kelly of Foxley River, aged 71 years. Myra was born in Foxley River on September 13, 1937, daughter of the late Francis and Margaret (Smith) Kelly. Left to mourn her passing are a dear brother, Allan Kelly, and brother Lloyd (Karen) Kelly, and sister Reby Bulger all of Foxley River, and a sister,, Florence (Leonard) McNeill, Miscouche. Survived also by sisters-in-law Margaret Kelly, Alberton; Marion Kelly; St. Eleanors; Mary Kelly, Miscouche and by brother-in-law Ervin Rafferty, Foxley River. Myra is also survived by several nieces and nephews who will miss the many good times had at her home. Predeceased by sisters Kathleen and Mary and brothers Everett, Francis, Emmett and Hillard, brother-in-law Linus Bulger and by a niece, Lianne Kelly. KIPPEN, Norma Letta - Life long North Bay resident Norma Kippen died peacefully at Cassellholme on Friday September 4, 2009 at the age of 87 years. For the past 63 years Norma (nee MacEwan) has been the beloved wife of Eric Kippen whom she married at North Bay on the 20th of July 1946. The proud and loving mother of Glenn and his wife Donna of Oshawa and Karen Doherty and her husband Steve of North Bay. She will also be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Scott (Tracy) & Sandi Kippen, and Matt Doherty, and great grandchildren Justin and Darby. She was predeceased by her brother Bill and sister Irene. In keeping with Norma's wishes cremation has taken place.
