JANDOS, Frank Frank Jandos passed away at the Sarcee Hospice on Thursday, November 13, 2008 at the age of 76 years. Frank is the beloved husband of the late Evelyn, and loving father to Michael Jandos and Loretta (Jason) Mikkelsen; grandfather to cherished grandchildren Parker and Garett. He was predeceased by his son, Gerald in 1996. Frank was a dedicated and loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be dearly missed by his family. KING, Gerald (Gerry) Richard December 23, 1947 - November 12, 2008 Sadly, Gerry passed away peacefully at his home in Cochrane, AB. He will be lovingly missed and forever remembered by his father Lorne (Marj), mother Laurie. brothers, Wayne, Glenn (Sandy), Dean (Carol) and his sister Lynne (Jim); as well as his beloved children: daughters Misty, Brandi, Erin, Meagan, Cassy, and his son Carson; also numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many many special friends. Throughout Gerry's life his all time passion was riding horses and packing in the wonderful Rockies. Those who knew him will remember his huge smile when he spoke about his children. MARLING, Joseph Joe, beloved husband of Laura and best friend to her children Christine and Brian Watson, passed away suddenly at the Royal Alexandra Hospital on November 12, 2008 at the age of 50 years. Joe is survived by his parents, Dr. Keith and Anne Marling of Creston, B.C and Mrs. Lee and Mac Sinclair of Nelson, B.C., his siblings Daryl, Linda and Kyle Marling. Joe will also be remembered as a devoted uncle, nephew, in-law, cousin and friend to all who knew him. A Memorial Service will be held in honour of Joe on Saturday, November 22, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Anglican Church in Creston, B.C. Lunch will be served after the Service. Former spouse of Dalton Dods (deceased). Mother of Richard (Leslie) and Leanne (Richard Jamieson). Loving grandmother of Devon Heslop, Gregory Dods, Janet and Allan Jamieson. Great grandmother of Ethan and Olivia Heslop. Sister of Eleanor (Late Ronald McGuire), Ruth (George Calder), Keith Horner (Vera), Grace (Late Wayne Wilson), Helen Horner, and Nancy (Richard Huntley). She will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Dear friend to Margaret (Martin) Murray, Anna Kelly and Jim Cowell who spent countless hours with her in this time of need assisting in meals, transportation to appointments, and in always providing comfort and support throughout this long, hard battle. RADU-Gordon Edward passed away peacefully at the Regina General Hospital on Friday November 14, 2008 at the age of 89. Gordon is survived by his wife Norena of 14 years, son Dave; daughter Jeanette both of Regina; granddaughters Lindsey and Courtney of Calgary; sister Marie Wright of Saskatoon; brother Ken (Estel) of Arizona along with numerous nieces and nephews. Gordon is predeceased by his parents Tudor and Aurillia (nee Trata); sisters Fanny Forness and Helen Edwards, brothers Cris, George, John and Billy; Emily (nee Heidt) first wife and mother of his three children; and second born son Larry. Gordon was born in Stonehenge Saskatchewan on January 25, 1919 and grew up on the farm. He moved to Regina in 1946 where he trained to be a journeyman heavy-duty motor mechanic. He worked at Midwest Motors, International Harvester and Weston's Bakery repairing and servicing large trucks. Gordon retired from Weston's Bakery in 1984. Gordon's real passion was his music. He learned to play the guitar at a very young age and taught himself how to play the mandolin, banjo and fiddle. Gordon played music in numerous groups throughout his life. In the 1980's he formed his own group, the Western Pioneers, as well he started the Heritage Fiddlers with two fiddlers and a piano player, they have since grown to 30 fiddle players. Gordon was also an instructor for five years at the Emma Lake Fiddle Camp. Gordon's music touched many hearts, he will be surely missed.
