Sadie Smith (nee Kimble), was the beloved wife of the late Lawrence Smith. Much loved mother of Garry and Mary Lou Smith, and Donna Smith. Proud and adored grandmother of Robert and Lori. Wilfred Haché (1906-2008) - À l’Hôpital de Tracadie-Sheila, le dimanche 2 novembre 2008, à l’âge de 102 ans et trois mois, est décédé entouré de ses enfants Wilfred Haché, époux de feu Laurette Dugas, domicilié à la Résidence Mgr-Chiasson de Shippagan, mais autrefois de Caraquet. HALLAS, Kenneth. Kenneth Hallas passed away peacefully in his eighty-fourth year on October 31, 2008 at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Montreal. Beloved husband of the late Hazel Hallas, Kenneth was born and raised in Montreal. After devoting his youth to protecting the future of his country as a WWII Veteran, he dedicated himself to raising a family with the same commitment and integrity. He strived for nothing but the best for his wife and children and instilled values for them to live by. This proud man and father leaves behind his four sons: Ken Jr. of Vernon, B.C., Ian (wife Donna) of Montreal, PQ, Neil (wife Michelle) of Vernon, B.C. and Craig (Fiance Tanya) of Mississauga, ON. He will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Brandie (Derrick), Jason (Brieanne), Tyler, Jordan, Zachary, Keenan, Alex, Dylan and Ryley; great-grandchildren River, Silken, Hailey and Dylan, as well as countless nieces, nephews and friends who couldn't say enough about him as a man. MENARD, Stella (nee Perron) - Passed away peacefully on October 31, 2008 at Exdendicare York St, Sudbury, beloved wife of Frank J. Menard, predeceased. Stella is survived by her son Frank R.Menard and daughter-in-law Jane Townend of Caledon. Stella is also survived by her grandson Gregory of Toronto and nephew Ray Stoughton of Virginiatown. Also, sister to Beatrice, Clarice, Cecile and Tom, predeceased. Stella was an avid curler for many years in Sudbury and greatly enjoyed her summers at the camp on Long Lake near Noranda PQ. Stella loved life, people and parties. She was a graceful lady with nothing but kind words to say about anyone and in any situation. We say goodbye to her sadly, but take comfort knowing Stella lived her life to the fullest. Many thanks to the staff at Extendicare for taking care of my mother over the past years as well as to Marguerite Haran and Carmen Menard for keeping her company. She was a very generous and giving person who unconditionally loved and accepted others. Always a straight shooter, Lillian would give you the shirt off her back and on occasion advise you on how to wear it. Lillian was devoted to her loving family who were the focus of her life. Hervé Belliveau (1930-2008) À l’Hôpital régional Dr-Georges-L.-Dumont de Moncton, le samedi 1er novembre 2008, après une longue maladie, est décédé Hervé Belliveau, domicilié à Haute-Aboujagane, mais autrefois de Saint-Paul. Né à Saint-Paul le 15 août 1930, il était fils de feu Edmond et de feu Rosalie (LeBlanc) Belliveau. Hervé laisse dans le deuil deux soeurs: Laura Robichaud de Bouctouche et Lucille Arsenault (Alyre) de Dieppe; un frère, William (Aline) de Saint-Pierre-de-Kent; une nièce, Phyllis Caissie avec qui il demeurait, ainsi que plusieurs autres neveux et nièces. Trois soeurs: Rita, Imelda et Léona, ainsi que six frères: Aldéric, Alyre, Alfred, Hector, Aimée et Emile, l’ont précédé dans la tombe. Les visites auront lieu de 13h à 15h45, le mardi 4 novembre, à la salle mortuaire de l’église de Saint-Paul-de-Kent. Les funérailles auront lieu en l’église Saint-Paul, le mardi 4 novembre, à 16h.
