Claire Dupuis À sa résidence, le samedi 27 septembre 2008, à l’âge de 91 ans, est décédée Claire Dupuis. Née à Campbellton le 19 décembre 1916, elle était fille de feu Joseph Jean et de feu Elizabeth LeBlanc. Elle laisse dans le deuil ses filles: Louise (Claude) Lalonde de Pubnico, N.-É., Florence Dupuis de Campbellton, Rachel (Pierre) Lemieux de Rimouski et Thérèse (Jean-Guy) Bérubé de Charlo; ses fils: Jean (Isabelle) Dupuis de Tide Head, François (Solange) Dupuis de Campbellton et Benoit (Hélène) Dupuis d’Ottawa; son frère, Louis Jean de Laval-des-Rapides, Qc, ainsi que 18 petits-enfants et 14 arrière-petits-enfants. Son époux, Louis Dupuis, ainsi qu’une fille, Elizabeth, l’ont précédée dans la tombe. Les visites auront lieu au Salon funéraire Maher, 33, rue Lansdowne à Campbellton, le lundi 29 septembre, de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h et le mardi 30 septembre, de 9h30 jusqu’à l’heure des funérailles. Les funérailles auront lieu en l’église Notre-Dame-des-Neiges de Campbellton, le mardi 30 septembre, à 11h. Le célébrant sera père Benoit. L’inhumation se fera au cimetière paroissial. Il sera grandement manqué par toute sa famille sourtout ses petits-enfants Lianne et France Huot. Le vide causé par son absence sera difficile à surmonter. Papa était un homme fort et courageux. Ces qualitiés vont nous soutenir et nous aider à passer à travers cette grande perte dans notre famille. Nous n'oublierons jamais son grand sourire et ses beaux yeux bleus. Alleen is survived by her daughter, Donna Ling-MacRae, son-in-law, Harvey MacRae, granddaughter Andrea MacRae of Charlottetown and grandson Aaron MacRae of Calgary, step-daughter Elizabeth Pippy, sister-in-law Evelyn Cudmore, Montague, nieces and nephews and special cousin Laura Curtis, Milton. Predeceased by her husbands, Walter Ling and Chester Matheson, parents Albert and Ada Cudmore, brothers James and Lorne Cudmore, sisters Lillian Kingston and Jennie Lester. CRANE, Jeffrey Alexander 2008-09-29 JEFFREY ALEXANDER CRANE December 22, 1981 – September 26, 2008 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Jeffrey Alexander Crane, age 26 years, on Friday, September 26, 2008 due to a motor vehicle accident. Jeff will be greatly missed and always loved by his 5-year-old daughter Jayden Lee Marie Crane and parents Alexander and Judith Crane. Grieving his loss are his grandparents Mary and Ronald A. Crane and Phil Robblee and very special friend Stacy Hedrick. He will be missed by his uncle Brian Crane (Patty) of British Columbia, aunts Mary Anne Robblee (Andy) of Ottawa, Maureen Robblee (Bernie) of Toronto and Ronda Hoffman (Robert) of Winnipeg, Manitoba. From Thunder Bay, his uncle Ron and aunt Cathy Robblee and uncle Art and aunt Jerry Stephens, along with many cousins and friends. Jeff loved life. His outgoing, caring personality helped him over come many challenges in his short life. His main interest was his daughter Jayden who he loved very much. Jeff was attending Confederation College in the mining program and was excited about starting his life with his best friend, Stacy. JESSEN, Herluf Runge Peacefully, at home, with his family by his side, on September 25, 2008, in his 84th year, after a courageous battle with Mesothelioma. Loving husband of Alice (Rodtness), dear father of Kim (Eileen), Jeff (Heather) and Steven (Christine). Precious Bedstefar of Kelcie, Brayden, Erica, Dana and Lee. Herluf, his wife Alice, and young son Kim came to Canada from Denmark in 1957, and he quickly established a long career as an administrator at the Ottawa Civic Hospital. His life revolved around his family, and he had a mission that his children stay connected to the Danish family. His mission was successful. Herluf also enjoyed an enduring relationship with the Sage Kiwanis and helped found the Danish Club of Ottawa. Herluf loved to golf and, most of all, spend time with his children, grandchildren and friends at the cottage. He will be sadly missed by his loving family and many friends. The passing of Ella M. (Fraser) Galloway of Fredericton, NB, occurred on Monday, September 29, 2008 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on November 12, 1916 in Truro, NS, she was the daughter of the late John R. and Mary Fraser. She was a wonderful homemaker for her husband and family, and took great pride in her home where all were welcome. As well as being a great cook, she loved to knit. She was a member of Nashwaaksis United Church, past member of the United Church Women and past member of the Fredericton Heart Support Group. She was blessed with many wonderful friends and neighbours. Ella is survived by her daughter, Judy and son-in-law, Paul Thompson of Hamtown Corner; daughter-in-law, Linda Galloway of Stratford, PE; grandchildren, Andrew (Sherri) Galloway, Jennifer (Wade) Pineau, Jesse and Julie Thompson; great grandchildren, Ava Pineo and Lukas Galloway. She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Shirley Dickson of Tide Head, NB; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, two sisters and two brothers, she is predeceased by her husband, James A. (Jim) Galloway; son, Rick Galloway and granddaughter, Jaime Paula Thompson.
