OBITUARY ANNE HAM Anne Ham died at her home in Jupiter, FL on Friday, October 26, 2007 after a long and courageous fight with breast cancer. Anne was born in Montreal, Quebec on August 18, 1930 to Catherine and Charles Dinsmore. She attended West Hill High School and McGill University. Anne married Leslie Ham, also of Montreal, on June 12, 1954. Anne and Les subsequently lived, worked and played in Toronto, New Canaan, Paris, Hong Kong, London and Jupiter. Anne will be missed by her many friends throughout Canada and the United States and by her husband Les, three children, Keith Ham of London, England, Susan Halstead of Jupiter, FL and Cindy Pollard of Nanaimo, B.C., her seven grandchildren and brother Robert Dinsmore of Picton Ontario. Anne had a wonderful smile and kept on smiling throughout her illness. MEEHAN, Justice Michael - In loving memory of Justice Michael Meehan, 71 years who passed away Friday, October 26th, 2007 in Sudbury. Michael was the Senior Partner of Meehan, Maranger, Horeck and Pharand with branches in Sudbury, Espanola and Manitoulin Island, he served as the Federal Prosecutor for the Districts of Sudbury and Manitoulin. He served on City Council, with distinction. Michael was appointed, the youngest ever at the time, to the Federal Bench, in 1973. As a Judge he was active in many Ontario Districts, including a tenure as Regional Senior Justice of Lambton County. He completed his time as a Justice in his home town of Sudbury, as the longest serving Justice in Ontario. He was a member of the Canada Pension Appeals Board. An avid sailor and outdoorsman, he was very proud of his Irish Heritage. Michael was widely travelled, but most happy at his cottage on Birch Lake. Survived by daughters; Patricia Lynn Meehan of Sudbury, Diane Michelle Meehan of Little Current, Kathryn L. Meehan of Kitchener and Maia Wertheim of Toronto. Grandsons; Reid and Evan Cormier, Brock Meehan Taus, Luke and Owen Sinclair. Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Winnifred “Honey“ Meehan. FEDAK, Margaret. It is with deep sadness that we announce Margaret Fedak, beloved wife of Rudy Fedak, passed away at the Agape Hospice in Calgary on October 25, 2007 at the young age of fifty-eight. Her family was present at the time. She was the cherished mother and best friend to Lori-Ann, son-in-law Paul and grand-daughter Malayna Lesko all of Calgary. Margaret is also survived by her mother, Bertha Stano, sister Rosemary and niece Kathy. She was lovingly devoted to her family and will always be remembered for that. Many friends will also miss her fun loving spirit. A private family funeral will be held at Margaret's request.
