KAYTER, Dianne L. - It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Dianne, loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend to all of us on Friday, July 20, 2007. Dianne was born on March 5, 1961, and after a very courageous life long battle with Diabetes, Our Lord called Dianne to join him so that her suffering would be no longer, with her husband, Mark by her side. Dianne has left to mourn her loving husband, Mark and her precious 8 year old daughter, Rebecca. In 1967, Dianne was joyfully welcomed by her new loving family, adoptive parents, Cynthia and Arthur Duce and her brothers and sisters. Dianne is survived by her mother, Cynthia Duce of Milestone; sister, Colleen (Otto) Polei of Calgary, AB; brother, Dallas Duce (Kim) of Estevan; sister, Sharon (Marcel) Hoste of Estevan and sister, Dixie Duce (Maurice) of Calgary, AB as well as nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her in laws, Brenda MacLennan, Darrell (Marlene) Kayter, Karen (Bob) Lamb, Joanne (Brian) Mass, Yvette Kayter (Todd), Angela (Claude) Dequier and Jennifer Kayter (Lorraine) all of Regina along with numerous nieces and nephews. Dianne, a few years back was very fortunate to have been found by her biological family and is also survived by her mother, Barb Desjarlais (Hank); sister, Rhonda (Ab) Vanderbreggan of Fort Qu'Appelle; brother, Raymond (Norma) Desjarlais of The Pas, MB; her aunt, Grace Racette of Milestone and cousin, Dixie (Kevin) Metz of Milestone. Dianne's biological family was very large and she was unable to meet all of them even though many of them knew of her. She was predeceased by her father, Arthur Duce and father in law, Albert Kayter. There will be a viewing from 7:00 P.M. 9:00 P.M. on Tuesday, July 24, 2007 at Paragon Funeral Services, 521 Victoria Ave., Regina, SK. HUTCHINSON, Frank Raymond It is with great love and deep sorrow that the family of Frank Raymond Hutchinson announces his passing on Friday, July 20, 2007 at the age of 80 years. Frank was an extraordinary man, always putting the needs of family and friends first. Frank worked for R.M. Hardy Associates for over twenty years as office manager and accountant. In 1961 he attended auctioneering school in Mason City, Iowa and continued that passion for many years. Frank was predeceased by his wife Dorothy in 1998. He is survived by his daughter Judy Mackenzie (Sandy) and son Alex Hutchinson (Marina). The light of Frank's life were his grandchildren: Tyler, Kayla, Jared, Janelle and Kendra. "Papa" could always be found in the audience whether it was at a school function, horse show or soccer game. He made a point of taking his grandchildren out on a regular basis "just to catch up". Sometimes it was Boston Pizza or a visit to Tim Horton's, these were very special times to them. Frank truly enjoyed family gatherings as he cherished his visits with everyone. These times were enjoyed by all and he will be missed greatly by those who loved him. Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday, July 25, 2007. Interment will take place at the Three Hills Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. with a Celebration of Life Service at 3:00 p.m. at Bethel Evangelical Missionary Church, 123 - 4 Avenue South, Three Hills, Alberta. CLAUSI, Margaret Anne - (PEGGY) nee Moss - JULY 21, 2007 - With deep sorrow the family announces the passing of Margaret Anne (Peggy) Clausi in the presence of Ross, her husband of 46 years, and her sons at the Timmins and District Hospital on Saturday, July 21, 2007. Peggy was predeceased by her mother Emilienne Fournier Moss (1960) and John Reginald Moss (1978). She is survived by her husband Ross, her sons Louis (Louise) of Timmins, Peter (Louise) of Oakville, David (Mira) of Waterloo, and Alan (Catherine Godbout) of Ottawa. Beloved Grandma Peggy to Laura and Ross Clausi, Ben and Grace Clausi, and Bryan and Luke Clausi. Dear sister of Reg (Dena) Moss, loving sister-in-law of Mary Verardi (Beeton, ON), and Richard and Lorraine Clausi (Elmira, ON). She will always be remembered for her wit and sense of humour, her passion for reading, her faith in Christ, and devotion to her family and friends. MEADE, Wayne Daniell “Dan“ - (Autobody Manager, Paterson Pontiac; Employee of Cruising Creations Restorations, Member of Twin Lake Cruisers) peacefully passed at Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family, in his 60th year, on July 21st, 2007, after a courageous battle with esophageal and lung cancer. Dan was born on February 8, 1948, Ottawa to the late Joseph (1980) and Moya R. (1994) Meade. After many years of family moves they settled in Orillia, where Dan met and married his beloved soul mate and best friend Jane Street (RN - OSMH). He will always be remembered as a loving and devoted father to Miranda Meade (Michael Fish) and Wade Meade, both at home. Dear son-in-law of Doris W. Street, Orillia and the late John A. Street. McGREGOR, Muriel Margaret - In loving memory of Mrs. Muriel Margaret McGregor who passed away at the Englehart & District Hospital, on Thursday, July 12, 2007 at the age of 88. She had been living at the Northview Nursing Home for 2 years prior to her death. Muriel was born in Burritt's Rapids on Feb. 25, 1919 to Charles Gough and Fanny (Perkins). She was educated in Kemptville, Ont., and married Lloyd McGregor in Hamilton Ont. on March 10, 1944. She came to Sesekinika shortly after her marriage and lived in the Kirkland Lake area and at Northwood Camp where she raised her family of 5 children, and worked part time delivering rural mail. She moved to New Liskeard with her husband in 1969 where she and Lloyd enjoyed retirement; spending time with family and participating in many of the senior activities. Pre- deceased by her husband Lloyd, parents Charles and Fanny Gough, siblings Winifred, Henry, Veryl and Gordon. She is survived by her children Margaret (Marson), Heather (Johnston), Kenneth McGregor, Rae (Hansman), Bryan McGregor and her sister Bertie (Thompson). Also, she will be sadly missed by her 12 grandchildren & 2 great grandchildren. Cremation has taken place. Internment to follow at the Kemptville Union Cemetery on Monday August 20, 2007 at 2 pm. WINSTANLEY, Ronald Arthur February 11, 1913 - July 20, 2007 Ronald Arthur Winstanley, of Calgary, passed away on Friday, July 20, 2007 at the age of 94 years. Ronald was born February 11, 1913 in Wombwell, Yorkshire, England, the only child of Herbert and Lily (Eden) Winstanley. The family moved to Canada in 1920 and settled in the Vancouver area. Ron trusted Christ as his Saviour in 1931, and joined the Metropolitan Tabernacle in the summer of 1934. He went to Prairie Bible Institute, Three Hills, Alberta, in 1933, graduating in the spring of 1936. In the fall of 1935 he was accepted by the Evangelical Union of South America (later merged with Gospel Missionary Union and now known as Avant Ministries). In the spring of 1937 he became engaged to Amy Irene McElheran of Three Hills, who had graduated in 1935. Along with a senior missionary couple and another new recruit, Ron went to Bolivia, South America in the fall of 1937. A year later a second group arrived, consisting of four young ladies, including Amy. They were married June 1, 1939 on a farm in Aripalca, Bolivia and were sent to begin gospel work in the village of San Lucas. During their second term they began a church planting ministry in the city of Sucre, where they served for many years. In 1970 they moved to the city of Cochabamba for a teaching ministry in a Bible School there. In 1973 the Home Board requested them to return to Canada to be mission representatives. They made their home in Calgary while Ron travelled extensively in a missionary, Bible teaching and prophetic ministry. In 1983 Ron and Amy were placed on the retiree list. Since their move to Calgary they have attended Grace Baptist Church, where Ron taught an adult Bible class for a number of years. Amy passed into the presence of the Lord on September 8, 1994. Ron is survived by his four children Edith of Calgary, Ernest of Comox, BC, Herbert of Langley, BC and Dorothy (Foster) of Calgary; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at Grace Baptist Church (2670 Radcliffe Drive S.E.), on Wednesday, July 25, at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made to Avant Ministries, 2121 Henderson Highway, Winnipeg, Manitoba R2G 1P8. Beloved wife of the late John Edwards, and the late James Ross. Loving mother of the late Ken (Brenda), Steve (Karen), Don (June), and Terry (Josee). Cherished grandmother of Jeff (Kelly), Jason, Andrew (Morgan), Jamey, Bryan, the late Andrea, Chris (Sue), Travis, Evan, and Shane. And great grandmother of Kelsey Kendra, Elizabeth, Brandon, and Haley. Dear sister of the late Alan, Lily, Gordon, the late Jim, Chick, and Arnold. She will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by her daughter-in-law Jean and numerous other family and friends. KLASSEN, David Peter David Peter Klassen, age 96, passed away peacefully in the early hours of July 20, 2007 at Rockyview General Hospital. He was born on July 5, 1911 to Peter and Susanna Klassen in Steinfeld, Russia and immigrated to Canada with his mother and three sisters in 1923. He spent his teenage years in southern Saskatchewan, briefly attending school but soon finding it necessary to work to support himself. In 1942, he married the love of his life, Katherine Braun. They farmed for many years, briefly in the Sunnyslope area and then nearly twenty-five years in Gem, Alberta. In 1967, they retired from the farm and moved to Calgary. However, David did not retire, working at various places including the Calgary Winter Club, The Calgary Golf and Country Club and Mount Royal College. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Katherine, in 2003. Cherishing his memory are his children: David (Vicky), Susan (Rudy) Neufeld, Garry (Lynn), Ralph (Lois); seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Also remembering him are two sisters, three brothers and a large extended family. A special thank you to the staff at Trinity Lodge and Rockyview Hospital, Unit 74 for their compassion, comfort and care shown to David and his family. A Celebration of David's Life will be held on Thursday, July 26, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at the Highland Mennonite Brethren Church (4018 Centre B Street N.W.). POW, Catherine Anne (nee Cunningham) Catherine passed away peacefully at the Colonel Belcher Care Centre on July 20, 2007 at the age of 90 years. Cathie is survived and lovingly remembered by her husband of sixty-two years, James, daughter Betty (Don) and son William. Cathie (Grandma Sis) will also be sadly missed by her niece Jacqueline (Jim) Lutz, and their daughters Caroline and Melanie Lutz. She is also survived by her cousin Alice Stone of San Francisco, California. She was predeceased by her father David, mother Jessie, brothers Bill, Tommy, sister-in-law Helen as well as many dear friends. Cathie was born in Calgary. She spent her childhood in Vulcan, Calgary, Palo Alto, California and Stettler where she lived until enlisting in the RCAF (WD) in 1942. Cathie was stationed overseas in Newfoundland until her honourable discharge in 1945. Cathie and James were married September 29, 1945 and raised their two children in Calgary. Cathie loved to bake for family and friends, enjoyed curling and volunteered many hours with community and school activities. She was an active and proud member of The Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 264. Cathie's enthusiasm for life enriched all she knew. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and great friend to many. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Flanders Wing, Colonel Belcher for their loving care and compassion. DUNNETT, Thomas Alexander Thomas Dunnett passed away at the Foothills Hospital on Saturday, July 21, 2007 at the age of 75 years. Tom is lovingly remembered by Marguerite, his wife of forty-seven precious years; his daughters Kathleen Dunnett (Drew), Sharon Dunnett and grandson Thomas, Dianne (Michael) Brooks and granddaughter Katie. He is also survived by his sisters Nora (Thomas) LeGeyt and Edna Staples. Tom was predeceased by his brother William (Irene). Tom was born in Calgary in 1931 and lived most of his life here. He graduated with a B.Sc. in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Oklahoma in February 1959 and had an extensive career in the petroleum industry where he was well known and respected. He loved his softball game and was an active participant in softball leagues into his sixties. Tom was a devoted husband and father who loved his family. They were the center of his life.
