DENYES, Nelson David - It is with sadness that the family of Nelson Denyes acknowledges his passing on April 28, peacefully at his residence, in his 50th year, after a long and valiant 2 year struggle with cancer. Born in 1957 in Kingston, Ontario, the son of William and Mary Denyes. Nelson is survived by his devoted wife of 23 years Brenda; their two loving sons, David and Geoffrey (Kate), parents, William and Mary Denyes, brother Paul Denyes (Bonnie), sister-in-law Twila Poirier (Carl) and Lois Smagata (Bernie), numerous nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends. Nelson loved the outdoors but most of all he loved spending time with his family. He was employed with the Ministry of Natural Resources since 1977 as a Conservation Officer and Agricultural Investigator. He also served his community as a volunteer firefighter with the Pelham Fire Department and a Cub Scout Leader for many years. The family would like to thank all of the many people who have shown so much love to Nelson through the years and remind us that while cancer may have taken him from us, it cannot cripple the love we share, shatter our hope, suppress our memories or diminish our faith that we will all be together again some day. We say goodbye for now but not forever and comfort ourselves knowing that you are always with us in our hearts and memories. PAUL, Michael “Mike“ - In loving memory of Michael “Mike“ Paul 57 years. On Friday, April 27th, 2007, Mike began his journey into the spirit world with family by his side at the Sudbury Regional Hospital-Memorial Site. Sadly missed by his beloved wife and best friend Elizabeth (nee Lewis) and daughters Stephanie and Michelle (Sefo). Predeceased by his parents Ivan and Adeline and sisters Betty Jean and Nancy. Fondly remembered by his brothers Cliff, John and Ernie Bob, and sisters Pauline, Squeek and Sadha as well as many cousins, nephews, nieces and friends. In healthier days, Mike dedicated much of his time to volunteering in his community, most notably serving as Fire Chief for the M'Chigeeng Fire Department. Mike's involvement was a major contributor to the department's growth over the years. Mike loved to joke and used humour to ease himself and those who loved him. He could always be counted on to lend a helping hand, for family, friends and even strangers. Mike was a family man and everything he did, he did for his wife and children. Joyce Phyllis Blair 1919 - 2007 It is with great sorrow that the family of Joyce Blair of Moncton announces her sudden passing at the G. L. Dumont Hospital on Thursday, April 26, 2007 at the age of 87 years. She was born in London, England on June 27, 1919. She met and fell in love with her beloved husband David during the WWII and came to Canada as a war bride in 1945. She attended St. Georges Anglican Church. Left with fond memories are her daughter, Peggy Brittain (James) of Saint John, NB; her son, Peter F. Blair (Maura) of Moncton; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her beloved husband David W. Blair in 2000. At the request of the family all services will be private. Interment will be in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. MORRIS, Georges est décédé paisiblement entouré de sa famille le vendredi 27 avril 2007, à l'âge de 68 ans. Il était l'époux bien-aimé de Elizabeth (Betty) née Kluke. Il était également le père de Patrick et le grand-père de Timothy. Il fut prédécé par ses parents Frank Morris et Jeanne Jacques. Il était le frère bien-aimé de Shirley (feu Owen), Richard (feu Lise) et Diane (feu Peter). Il laisse dans le deuil plusieurs nièces, neveux, petites- nièces et petits-neveux. Il sera regretté par de nombreux amis de pêche et de chasse. Il s'est retraité après 38 ans de service à Agriculture Canada. Il était membre de Aylmer Rod et Gun Club; membre de Quebec Wildlife Federation; volontaire de AA Archives; membre de Triple A Group et il avait un doctorat en pêche. La famille désire remercier le docteur Touchie et les membres du personnel du 5e étage ouest de l'Hôpital Général pour les bons soins prodigués. Famille et amis sont invités à assister à une messe à l'église St-Johns, 2340 Baseline road, le mardi 1er mai 2007, à 11h. Valmond Boudreau 1945 - 2007 SHEDIAC, NB - Valmond Boudreau, 61, of Shediac, passed away Saturday, April 28, 2007 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital following a sudden illness. Born May 8, 1945 in Shediac, NB, he was the son of the late Jean-Paul and Marguerite (Hebert) Boudreau. Valmond was a retired foreman at Paturel. He loved traveling, nature, and being outdoors. He is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years, Claudia (née Robichaud); his two loving daughters, Janice at home, and Rachelle (Martin) of Grand-Barachois; his two sisters, Raymonde Gautreau (Léo-Paul) of Dieppe, Rolande Gallant (Roger) of Shediac; a sister-in-law, Marie Boudreau (late Fernand); his brothers and sisters-in-law, Albain Robichaud (Laudia) and Léonne Robichaud both of Dieppe, Huguette Thibodeau (Lévi) of Caraquet, Antonie Robichaud (Francine) of Irishtown, Jeanne Gaudet of Aldouane, Georgette Clements (Frankie) of Shediac, Albéa Dugas (François), Marie-Anna Martin (Claude), and Roger Robichaud (Jeanne), all of Pointe-Sapin, Denise Daigle (Len) of Moncton, Jean-Paul Robichaud (Nicole) of St-Pierre, Réjean Robichaud of Saint-Louis; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. HARRIS, HELEN - Helen Aldana (Tracy) Harris of Fredericton Junction, N.B. passed away at the Dr . Everett Chalmers Hospital on April 28, 2007 at the age of 84. Helen is survived by one sister, Edna Webb of Fredericton Junction; sister-in-law, Enid Tracy; several nieces and nephews. Helen was a member of the Tracy Baptist Church. Helen and her husband Ray did everything together - Fishing, Hunting, Snowmobiling, Picking Blueberries, Raspberries and Strawberries and she enjoyed gardening. She taught school for a few years and then was a homemaker to her husband Ray. She was a member of the Gladstone Blissville Seniors Club, Ladies Missionary Society and a past member of the Gladstone Curling Club. She is predeceased by her parents, Jennie (Nason) and Blaine Tracy; her husband, Ray Harris; and one brother, Allan Tracy. Relatives and friends are invited to the Tracy Baptist Church for visitation on Tuesday May 1, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Helen's funeral service will be from the Tracy Baptist Church on May 2, 2007 at 3 PM with the Rev. James Harrison officiating. Interment to follow in the Tracy Baptist Cemetery. JOHNSTON, RAYMOND - The death of Raymond K. Johnston, formerly of Grand Bay-Westfield, NB, husband of the late Minnie May (Taylor) Johnston, occurred on Friday, April 27, 2007 at the Loch Lomond Villa. Born in Saint John on November 25, 1914, he was the son of the late Samuel Walter and Mary Ellen (Calvin) Johnston. Raymond had been employed with the CPR for many years before his retirement and was co-owner of S.W. Johnston and Sons Contracting with his late brother, Reginald. He was a member of the Masonic Hibernia Lodge, the Luxor Shriner's, and Portland United Church. He is survived by his niece, Karen Johnston; his "adopted niece", Maureen Hughes, both of Saint John; and several other nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Alan Gordon Johnston; and his brother, Reginald Johnston. HALLETT, CHARLES NORMAN The passing of Charles Norman Hallett, of Fredericton, NB, occurred on April 27, 2007 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on December 17, 1949 in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of Marquis and Marie (Jewett) Hallett. Norman was a Const. with the RCMP, training in Regina, Saskatchewan with postings in Gravelburg, SK, Glace Bay Sydney, and Ingonish, Cape Breton, New Minas, Pictou, Halifax, NS, and the Halifax Airport where he retired. Norman loved the outdoors, was an avid fisherman and gardener. He also loved cooking, photography, animals and music. Aside from his mother and father, he is survived by two daughters, Allison of PEI and Shannon of Halifax; one brother, Gary (Sandra) of Fredericton; one sister, Linda (Doug) Lingley of Fredericton; several nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Tuesday May 1 at 2 pm with Rev. Jerry Horsman and Rev. Peter Moore officiating. CORRIGAN, LINDA M. - The death of Linda Mary Corrigan of 129 Courtney Avenue, Saint John, wife of the late Frederick G. Corrigan, occurred on Saturday, April 28, 2007 at her residence. Born in Saint John on March 21, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Nellie (Chamberlain) Eagles. Linda was a member of the Cathedral Parish CWL and attended Stella Maris Church and volunteered for many years at the CYO Bingo. She is survived by two brothers, Henry Eagles of Saint John and Louis Eagles of Vancouver, BC; one sister, Gerry McEwen of Saint John; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers, James, Raymond and Thomas; and five sisters, Madeline, Mimi, Mabel, Louise and Margaret. Born at Southfield, NB, a son of the late Alexander and Emma (Campbell) Otis. Ronald is survived by his children, Murray Otis (Susan) of Eastern Passage, NS, Beth Floyd (Stanley) of Parleeville, Stephen Otis (Michelle), and Phillip Otis both of Sussex; four grandchildren; and several great grandchildren; sisters, Ethel Gailey of Apohaqui and Marie Henderson of Hatfield Point; brothers, Aubrey (Joan) of Norton, Elvin (Lorna) of Sussex Corner, Murray (Marion) of Apohaqui, Clarence (Joyce) of Parlee Brook and Ernest of Southfield; and several nieces and nephews.
