Martin, Noëlla LA FAMILLE MARTIN a le regret de vous annoncer le décès de MME NOËLLA MARTIN (née Rochon) ``Tu as mené ton combat comme ta vie, avec fierté, courage et dignité.'' décédée le 20 février 2007, au Foyer Père Guinard de Maniwaki, entourée de ses enfants, à l'âge de 95 ans. Elle était la fille de feu Esdras Rochon et de feu Alphonsine Cousineau; ainsi que l'épouse de feu Arthur Martin. Elle laisse dans le deuil ses enfants: Lucille (feu Jérôme Auger) de Gracefield, Julien, Hélène (Edgar Lafrenière), Léonie (feu Jean-Marc Castagne), Marie-Aimée (Jean-Paul Cronier) tous de Messines, Roger (Thérèse Fogarty) et Mirelle tous deux de Gatineau; son frère Josephat (Liliane Duffy) de Gatineau; sa soeur Marie-Jeanne de Montréal. Elle était la grand-mère de 31 petits-enfants, 30 arrière-petits-enfants et 10 arrière-arrière-petits-enfants. KOZLOWSKI, Henryk Pawel "Kmita" Born in Warsaw, Poland, January 15th, 1922. Immigrated to Canada in 1969. Died peacefully, after a long illness, at the age of eighty-five in Dunrobin, Ontario on February 19th, 2007. Served as Lieutenant in the Polish Home Army (Armia Krajowa, Batalion Zoska). Fought in the Polish underground movement and the Warsaw Uprising. Twice decorated for bravery in combat with the Cross of Valour. Political prisoner in Warsaw under the communist regime. He earned two masters degrees; one in Economics at SGH, Warsaw, the other in Library Science from the University of Ottawa. Worked at the Polish Chemical Society, Polish Academy of Science, and later in Canada at the National Library. A member of the Polish Engineering Society and the Polish Institute of Arts and Sciences in Canada. Survived by his loving wife Halina, sons Tomasz (Maya) and Maciek (Monica Bachmann), and grandchildren Kelly and Tomasz. ROCKWELL, MURIEL ELINOR Muriel E. Rockwell of Southampton passed away February 21, 2007 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born at Saint John in 1922, she was the daughter of the late George and Ethel (Peacock) Peterson. Muriel was a housewife and was employed for several years as a caregiver at a special care homes in the area. She also worked for a number of years at McCain Foods in Florenceville. She is survived by her husband, Alfred R. Rockwell and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Mae Norris and two brothers James and Frederick Peterson. WILSON, JEAN CAROL - The death of Jean Carol Wilson, of 41 McKay Street, Saint John, occurred on February 20, 2007 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, NB, she was the daughter of the late Ellsworth and Mary (Walsh) Wilson. Jean fondly attended both St. Ann's and St. Joachim's Churches and was a member of Cursillo, Christopher and Charismatic movements. She was an RNA who touched many lives through her work at both the hospital and as a private duty nurse. A charter member of AIDS Saint John where she continued as an active volunteer. Jean loved family, friends, music and travelling. GILBERT, JOYCE MELDA (1929-2007) - Joyce M. Gilbert, of Moncton and formerly of Riverview, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Tuesday, February 20, 2007 at the age of 78 years. Born in Halifax, NS, on February 20, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Percy and Ida Mae (Steeves) Gardiner. Joyce was formerly employed with Save Easy on the Pine Glen Rd., Riverview and the Co-op on Record St., Moncton before her retirement. Joyce was an avid card player and enjoyed darts, bowling and playing bingo. She was a member of the Moncton Air Force Vets. A loving and caring mother, grandmother, sister and friend, she will be sadly missed by her daughter, Sherry Lecointe (Edward) of Quispamsis, NB; her two sons, Terence R. Gilbert (Linda) of Lower Sackville, NS, and Glenn W. Gilbert (Beth) of Moncton, NB; six grandchildren, Mark, Jeffrey, Kortnie, Justin, Meaghan and Sherilynn; one brother, Kenneth B. Gardiner (Joan) of Halifax, NS; also by nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Robert W. Gilbert in 2003. DIAB, VALERIE TERESSA It is with great sadness the family announces Valerie's passing. After a valiant struggle with cancer, she completed her life journey peacefully on Saturday, February 10, 2007, at the young age of 47. She was surrounded by her loving family and close friends. She is survived by her mother Elizabeth, her children, Samantha Demmings and Clayton Demmings, whom she cherished and adored, her brother Charles (Mona), sisters Patty (Valerio), Nancy, and soul-sisters Polet and Lynn. COYLE, NORMAN - The death of Norman Daniel Coyle, loving husband of Mildred (Leach) Coyle, occurred on Wednesday February 21, 2007 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1928 in Saint John he was the son of the late Leo and Elsie (Decourcey) Coyle. Norman worked as an Accountant for Imperial Oil, Saint John Shipbuilding and Transport Canada. After his retirement he was the keeper of his son's Preferred Collision Centre on Rothesay Avenue until his passing. Besides his loving wife Mildred he is survived by his sons, Keary Coyle (Kathy) of Rothesay, Paul Coyle (Marion) of Quispamsis and Steven Coyle of Saint John; daughter, Susan Nelson (Stephen) of Quispamsis; six grandchildren, Jonathan, Jana, Jeffrey, Christopher, Lauren and Ashlyn; and many friends. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his sister, Elsie Dunn. WILE, WILLIAM "BILL" The sudden passing of William "Bill" Wile occurred at his home at Cumberland Bay, NB on Tuesday, February 20, 2007 at the age of 64. He was born December 9, 1942 at Bridgewater, NS. Bill served 35 years in the Military. He was an avid outdoorsman and hunter as well as a gifted craftsman especially when it came to carving wildlife.
