Il était le fils de feu Lorenzo Savage et de feu Albina Séguin. Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse Laurette Lalonde, ses enfants: Claude (Lise St-Denis), Claudette (Gilles Lacroix), Constance (feu Jean-Claude Meloche), Yvan (Pauline Parent), Gaston (Charmaine Clément), Ghislaine (Yvon Joly)(feu Thaddé St-Denis), Carmen (Paul Bisson) (feu Marcel Prud'Homme), Ronald (Carole Sabourin), Sylvette (Gilles Roy); son frère Laurent (Emilienne Mayer). Il fut le grand père affectueux de vingt deux petits-enfants et vingt sept arrière-petits-enfants. Il fut prédécédé ses soeurs: Germaine(feu Marcel Vinette), Léona (Léo Rollin), Dolorès (feu Laurent Joly), Marie (feu Edgard Rollin), Raymonde (Henri Roy); ses frères: Gérard (Jeanne d'Arc Vinette), Alban (Georgette Joly). BENNETT, Patrick Raymond. After a very brief illness, Patrick passed away suddenly at his home in North York, Toronto on February 5, 2007. He would have been fifty-eight on March 17. Pat was the dearly beloved son of Grace Ackerman Bennett and the late Raymond Bennett. He is lovingly remembered by his sisters Kathryn and Laurene, and brother-in-law Ron Kara. OBITUARY REV. RAYMOND JOSEPH KEARNS In his seventy-fifth year, and after a courageous battle with cancer, died peacefully at home in the loving arms of his family. He is survived by Gwen, his loving wife of 53 years, Andrew, Sharon, Damian, Bonnie, David and his faithful dog Angel. Following his retirement from CNR after 35 years of service, he was ordained to the priesthood in 1991. Father Ray then became incumbent at his most beloved parish of St. Aidan's in Ville Emard where he remained for 12 years. HENNESSY, Reverend Father Francis "Frank" O.M.I At Humber River Regional Hospital, Toronto on Sunday, February 11, 2007. Fr. Frank was born in Vancouver on December 3, 1915. Predeceased by his parents Ida Miller Hennessy and William E. Hennessy, his brothers Fr. Jack Hennessy O.M.I., and Bernard. He leaves one sister Mary Pauline Murphy and brother-in-law (Bud), who reside in Phoenix, Arizona. Fr. Frank's numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews are spread throughout the USA and its territories. Fr. Frank was ordained a Priest in Ottawa June 21, 1942. Throughout his lifetime he was a teacher. His first assignment in 1943 was to St. Patrick's College High School Mathematics department in Ottawa. Upon the completion of graduate studies at Columbia University, he joined with Swithun Bowers O.M.I. in founding the Ottawa University Graduate School of Social Welfare, then attached to St. Patrick's College on the Echo Drive Campus. This graduate school later became the Carleton University Graduate School of Social Welfare. Fr. Frank remained as a professor at the St. Patrick's College Graduate School of Social Welfare from 1949 through 1958 when he transferred to the Faculty of Arts at St. Patrick's College to teach Psychology. In 1962 Fr. Frank took over the Catholic Charities portfolio for the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops and served in that capacity till 1969. Subsequent to 1969 he served as Parish Priest, social worker, counsellor and Chaplain in Ottawa, Halifax, London and Toronto. From 1996 till the present Fr. Frank was in semi-retirement at St. Demetrius Residence in Toronto though he maintained some active ministry with his former colleagues, associates, students and fellow Oblates. Friends will be received at the St. Demetrius Ukranian Catholic Church, 135 LaRose Ave., Toronto on Tuesday, February 13, 2007 from 1 p.m. Funeral Mass will begin at 2 p.m. Visitation will be held Thursday, February 15, 2007 at Canadian Martyrs Church, Ottawa, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers at 8 p.m. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday, February 16, 2007. McMEANS, Marjorie (Mar) Mar in her 99th year passed away peacefully at Carlingview Manor, Ottawa, on Saturday, February 10th, 2007. She was predeceased by her husband Lendrum (Slim) McMeans on September 14th, 1983 and is survived by her daughter Kit (Cliff Watson), her son Terry (Anna Lee), her grandchildren John (Lisa), Suzie (John Settino) and her great-grandchildren Joey and Maggie McMeans and Gillian Settino. The family wishes to thank the staff on the 6th floor of Carlingview Manor, especially Rose, for their kind care and attention over the last few months. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind would be greatly appreciated. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Ben LeBlanc and the late Elise Cormier. He worked at CN as a Boilermaker until his retirement. Born in Jacquet River, NB, She was the daughter of the late William J. and Margaret E. (Barclay) MacLean. She was employed as a Secretary & Steno worker with T. Eaton Co. Reginald E. Keith Reginald E. Keith, 72, of Aylmer Que. passed away unexpectedly on February 5, 2007 while touring near Lima, Peru. Born in Lower Ridge N.B., dear son of the late Winston and Bernice (Black) Keith and loving husband of the late Judy Harvey (2001). He leaves to mourn, two daughters, Lori and Arlene; three sons, Michael, Gregory and Robert, their spouses; 15 grandchildren and two great grandchildren, Ottawa area. He will be missed by brothers, Malcolm, Abbotsford B.C., Ralph and Arthur Lower Ridge, Connel Sussex, Robin, Egypt; sisters, Eileen Nash, Barnesville, Pauline Steeves and Ann Dunham, Havelock and their spouses; a large extended family and many friends. Reg was a retired teacher with the Ottawa-Carleton School Board. He graduated from Havelock High School and became principal of that school after graduating from Provincial Normal School in Fredericton. He taught in native communities in the N.W.T. and later in Ottawa and Aylmer. He had a keen interest in genealogy and traveled much. His enthusiasm, generosity and kind nature is remembered. She took great pride in her family and actively participated in the lives of her grandchildren. BOURQUE, ANITA - Mrs. Anita Bourque, 77, of Rogersville, NB, who passed away on Saturday February 10th at the Miramichi Regional Hospital. Mrs. Anita Bourque was born in Rogersville, NB. The daughter of the late Alex and Mary Jane (Genevieve) (Richard) Martin. Anita worked for Connor Bros in Blacks Harbour for many years, Sobeys in Moncton before retiring. She loved gardening, sewing and knitting. She was a devoted catholic and volunteer to church functions. Anita is survived by her husband Clarence Bourque; daughters, Ida (Bill) Vautour of Miramichi, Jeanette (Osborne) Hawkins of Beaver Harbour, Theresa (Gordon) Gaudett of Pennfield; sister, Bertha Arsenault of Rogersville; brothers, Damien (Danella) Martin of Montreal, PQ., Alfred (Ernestine) Martin of Rogersville, Eddy (Emma) Martin of Rogersville; sister-in-law, Mai Martin of Rogersville; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents and her first husband Joseph Maillet; sister, Ida; brothers, Alsime and Leo. LOGAN, ALICE MARGARET - The death of Alice 'Margaret' Logan, wife of the late Frederick E. Logan, occurred on February 10, 2007 at St John and St. Stephen Church Home. Born in Saint John she was the daughter of the late Thomas H. and Annie Maude (Ring) Henderson. She was a long time member of Main Street Baptist Church and belonged to the Agnes Waring Guild. She enjoyed dancing and was a member of the Beaus and Belles Square Dancing Club. Her greatest love in life was her family and she took great pride in her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. HURST, BARBARA ROSE - Barbara Rose Hurst, 88, passed peacefully after a lengthy illness at the Loch Lomond Villa on February 9, 2007. Loving wife of 59 years to Philip D. Hurst. Born in Saint John on October 13, 1918 a daughter of the late Harry and Alice (Corbett) Marley. Besides her husband Philip, Barbara will be sadly missed by two sons, Bruce (Susan) of Rothesay and Harry (Joanne) of Nauwigewauk; one brother, Raymond Marley (Eileen) of Rothesay.
