BOND, Baby Hamish William - It is with heavy hearts that Nancy Saunders and Jody Bond, along with big sister Kennedy, announce the passing of their son and brother Hamish. Hamish was the grandchild of the late Barbara and Mark Saunders and Heather Bond. Hamish arrived far too early at Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto on November 1, 2006 weighing 1lb 14 oz. Although his body was weak, his heart continued to beat. After an exhausting five days of bravery, Hamish entered eternal life on November 5th. He may have been small and fragile but his spirit was and still is immense. Come and give thanksgiving for the life and courage of Hamish at the Pro-Cathedral of the Assumption on Saturday, November 11th at 10 a.m. A private interment will be held at St. Mary's Cemetery. OSBORNE, Stanley M. (Mel) - unexpectedly, but peacefully, Mel Osborne died in his sleep at his Lake Nosbonsing (Corbeil) home on Wednesday November 8, 2006 in his 90th year. Mel was the beloved husband of 64 years to Dorothy (Janes) of Corbeil. He was the loving brother of the late Rosamond Richardson of Corbeil. Lovingly remembered by daughter Beverley Predon (Gary) of Guelph and son Robert Osborne (Andree) of Oakville and grandchildren Katie and Daniel of Guelph and Michelle and Allan of Oakville and one great granddaughter Kasenya of Guelph. Mel served for his country in WWII, was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, and was an enthusiastic local artist. He loved the North and the northerners. He will be missed by his family and friends and former colleagues (Singer Sewing Machine Co.) The family will receive friends at the MARTYN FUNERAL HOME on Friday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9:00 PM. MACKAY, HARDING "HARDY" Harding "Hardy" Richard MacKay, of Hayesville, went to be with his Lord on November 7, 2006 with his family by his side at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on February 1, 1939 in Hayesville, NB, he was a son of the late Howard and Vesta (Pond) MacKay. Hardy was a Guide with the Rocky Brook Fishing Club with his brothers for 36 years and He was a member of the Nashwaak Valley Pentecostal Church. Besides his loving wife, Maizie Munn, of 43 years, he is survived by one son, Howard (Kim) of Boiestown; three daughters, Roxanne (Blake) Munn of Hayesville, Rosalie (David) Hudson of Amherst, NS, Shelly (Robert) Sutherland of Boiestown; eight grandchildren, Tasha, Timothy and Troy Munn, Shawn, Scott and Nikki MacKay, Tanner and Kristen Sutherland; two brothers, Wesley (Roberta) and Bill (Joan) MacKay all of Hayesville; three sisters, Velma Clowater of Boiestown, Eva Stewart of Hayesville, Marie Clowater of Charlotteville, Virgina; two sisters-in-law, Ellen MacKay and Sylvia MacKay and several nieces and nephews. ARGUE, FREDERICK FLETCHER - It is with great sorrow that out family announces the passing of Frederick F. Argue on November 7, 2006. He died peacefully at home with family at his side. Fred was born on December 8, 1919 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He is predeceased by his father, Professor R. Fletcher Argue and beloved mother, Annie E. Argue, also by his younger sister, Gladys Dripps of Winnipeg. He is survived by loving wife, Leila Argue of Perth-Andover; son, R. Fletcher Argue of Alberta; daughter, Cheryl and Donald Toner of Plaster Rock. He was the proud grandfather of Trevor, Travis (Rachel), Tyler (Ruthie), Tommy and Tyson Argue, Timothy, James and Sarah Toner. He is also survived by brothers, James and Agatha Pateman of Dryden, Ont., Stanley and Beth Goddard of Fort Townsend, Washington, D.C; and sisters, Dorothy and Donald Kelbert of Torrance, California and Edythe of Newcastle, Ont; and several nieces and nephews. Fred was a graduate of Kelvin High School of Winnipeg and Business College. He was employed with the CNR of Winnipeg for several years and also by the Department of National Defense for 21 years. He was also employed with the Revenue Office in Perth-Andover for 17 years prior to his retirement. Born in Saint John she was the daughter of the late Francis Xavier and Alexis E. (Fracker) Collins. She was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Church. Vriezen (Christiaan) of Saint John; brother, Francis Xavier (Claire) of Saint John; grandchildren, Michael, Heather, Kathleen and Alexander and several nieces and nephews. Born in Saint John, New Brunswick, she was the daughter of the late Avery W. and Selena V. (Darres) Hewey. Besides her husband Everett, she is survived by her sons Brian of Cold Lake, Alberta and Bradley (Shelley) of Walsh, Ontario; daughter Brenda Bell of Simcoe, Ontario, grandchildren Barbara Bell; Kyle and Madysen Gibbons. Also surviving are five brothers Kenneth and Raymond Hewey both of Nerepis, NB; Douglas (Barbara) Hewey, of Saint John, NB; Malcolm (Eleanor) Hewey, of Prince of Wales, NB; and Murray Hewey (Annette) of St. Mathias Sur-Richelieu, PQ; three sisters Doris "Dolly" Bailey, Margaret Buchanan, Shirley (Edward) Boyce and sister-in-law Alice Hewey, all of Saint John, NB; a number of nieces and nephews. HICKEY, DELPHIS JOSEPH - Born April 24, 1921 in Belledune River, New Brunswick. Formerly of Belledune. Resided in Chatham, NB. He was the son of the late Jim and Mary Hickey. Delphis passed away on November 6th, 2006 at the Region 7 Hospital with his devoted family at his side and his beloved Rose. Husband of the late Agnes Dhont. He is survived by sons, Donald (Debbie) of Chatham, Nelson of Ottawa; daughters, Simonne of Moncton, Susan (Brian) of St. Andrew's, Linda (Robert) of Belledune, Micheline (Robert) of Chatham. He was a WWII Veteran and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion #3. He was on the Belledune School Board. He held the position of Mayor in Belledune for many years. He was employed by N.B. Power & Brunswick Smelter in Belledune. Ran his own farm for many years. He continued on as a well known business man in the town of Chatham. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Delores Mary Boudreau 1919-2006 Sackville, N.B.- The death of Delores Mary (Campbell) Boudreau, age 87, occurred on Tuesday, November 7, 2006 at the Sackville Memorial Hospital, Sackville, N.B. Born on May 6, 1919, in Sydney, N.S., she was the daughter of the late Jack and Lou Theresa (Daley) Campbell. Delores was a devoted member of St. Vincent's Roman Catholic Church in Sackville. Isabella Cormier Peacefully at her residence in Moncton, on Wednesday, November 8, 2006, at the age of 85, wife of the late Rudolphe Cormier. Born in Scotland April 1, 1921, she was the daughter of the late James and Sarah (Burns) Canning. A war bride, Isabella was employed as a seamstress for Moncton Draperies before her retirement. Eleanor Edgett 1904-2006 Eleanor Edgett of the Kenneth E. Spencer Memorial Home and formerly from Broadview Avenue, Moncton, passed away November 7, 2006, in her 102nd year. Eleanor also resided and enjoyed many summers at the farm in Murray Corner and the family cottage in Pointe-du-Chêne. Born in Carleton Place, Ontario on March 18, 1904, she was the daughter of Gordon and Mary (Millar) Seaman. Eleanor was a member of Wesley Memorial United Church and a life member of the U.C.W. She was an Honorary Member of Mary Crisp Chapter, I.O.D.E., a Past Matron of Frank H. Tingley # 5 Order of Eastern Star and a member of Fort Moncton # 11 Chapter - Port Elgin. She was predeceased by her husband, Conrad on April 17, 1984 and a sister, Lena (Harold) Seaman. Robert Albert Evans 1934 - 2006 The death of Robert Albert (Bob) Evans, husband of the late Muriel Evans, of Essex Street, Moncton, occurred at his residence on Sunday, November 5th, 2006. Born in Saint John on July 6, 1934, he was the son of the late George and Carolyn (Neill) Evans. For many years Bob operated Atlantic Credit Consultants as well as working at the Jones Street Flea Market on Sundays. An avid collector, he enjoyed dealing in stamps, coins, antiques and collectables. He was a Director of the Fundy Stamp Collector Club. During the 1980's, Bob was active in the speed skating community and served as President of the New Brunswick Speed Skating Association. He was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion and the Air Force Vets. Bob is survived by his daughter, Karen (Rick) Belliveau of Moncton; his son, Neill (Kim) Evans of Halifax; one brother, Ted (Marilyn) Evans of Amherst; three grandsons, Scott Belliveau, Steven Belliveau and Zachary Evans; as well as nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Muriel in 2003; and his infant daughter, Mabel Carolyn. After a long and valiant struggle, Joe succumbed peacefully surrounded by the love of his wife Irene, his son Bob, and his daughter Gina, with his son Joe (in Vancouver) in his heart. He is predeceased by his mother Antonia, his father Pasquale, his sisters Mary and Serafina, and his brothers Frank, Angelo, and Pat. Fran will be deeply missed by extended Stephens family in Minnesota, Michigan, California and numerous friends throughout Florida and Canada. While Fran resided in Florida for many years pursuing her nursing career, she remained proudly Canadian. Fran is now "home" to stay. MORIN, Msgr. Roger, P.A. Peacefully on November 8, 2006. Msgr. Morin served in numerous functions in the Archdiocese of Ottawa. He was Chancellor for many years, Diocesan Pastoral Coordinator, Vicar General, Diocesan Consultor, Episcopal Vicar for Religious Communities, Attorney-Advocate and Chancellor of the Ottawa Marriage Tribunal, Pastor of Saint Margaret Mary Parish in Cumberland from 1957 to 1967 and Curate at St. Redempteur Parish in Hull. He was Chaplain to the Franciscan Sisters of Mary for many years as well as to the Good Shepherd Sisters and the Precious Blood Sisters. He was also a Chaplain at Rideau Hall and for the Governor General's Footguards. He was a longtime Conventual Chaplain of the Sovereign and Military Order of Malta. He was the beloved son of the late John Nelson Morin and the late Isola-Jeanne Lortie of Aylmer, Quebec, brother of the late Marcel, the late Malcolm (Emma Shepperd), the late Richard (Audette Douaire) and the late Madeleine (Raymond Bertrand). He will be fondly remembered by his sisters, Constance, (the late Jean Provost) former Mayor of Aylmer, Ghislaine (the late Aurele Frechette), Nicole (Jean-Francois Bordeleau) and by his brother Guy (Lise Paquette) and many nephews and nieces. He will be sadly missed by the members of the clergy whom he considered part of his family. The Morin family is deeply grateful for the excellent and compassionate care given by Dr. Andre Gauthier and Dr. Michele Turek. Also sincere thanks to the Intensive Care Unit personnel of the University of Ottawa Heart Institute. MUNROE, Charles Grant (Chuck) June 21, 1940- November 8, 2006 On Wednesday, November 8, 2006, after a courageous struggle with cancer. Best friend, beloved and loving husband of Jane. Cherished friend and brother-in-law to Patrick (Joan) McGrath (David and Kelly). He was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Jean Munroe of Maxville, and will be missed by his siblings, Jim (Sheila) of Smiths Falls, Bill (Diane) of Maxville, Fairley of Sarnia, Don (Sally) of Cornwall, and Carla (Sheldon) Rolland of Maxville. Also left to mourn are his much-loved extended family: Derrick (Shelby) and family, Kim (Collin) and family, Bev (Todd) Johnson and family, and Flo Barrett of Gander. Uncle Chuck will be missed by many nieces and nephews. A Major in the military (Pilot, Air and Sea Rescue), Chuck later retired from Transportation Canada to energetically pursue various hobbies, including wood turning, golfing and cottaging at Pine Lake. Chuck was a passionate, intelligent man and a true and loyal friend, and he will be remembered with affection by all those who had the good fortune to know him.
