Johnny Rey Pascual Peacefully with his family at his side, Johnny Rey Pascual, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, son and friend passed away after a long and courageous battle with cancer on August 25, 2006 at the age of 45. Born in Philippines, Johnny Rey (known as Johnny to some and Rey to others) immigrated to Winnipeg with his beloved wife, Cecilia, in 1980. The first of his family to come to Canada, Johnny Rey will be fondly remembered by his wife of 26 years; his sons, Rheycel (Mimi) and Jonathan; his grandsons, Kyle and Davyn; his parents, Philip and Lisa; his brother, Barry (Margie); his sisters, Mona (Eric), Mabini Joy (Reis), and Nanette. His brother-in-laws: Mario (Malou), Larry (Beth) and his many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Johnny Rey was a proud graduate of Nursing and was a dedicated employee of Unisys, and Motor Coach Industries. He was an avid camper and enjoyed many family trips throughout North America. He will be remembered for his love of others, his sense of humour and his commitment to family. The family would like to thank Dr. Maksymiuk and Lorrie Walker and the Staff of the Cancer Care Manitoba for taking care of Johnny Rey and easing his pain. Also, the Palliative Care Program staff that facilitated his time at home. Sincere thanks to Darlene Salvason and the staff of Golden Door for their excellent care and compassion. Great appreciation to Father Morand, Edna and Ruel for all of your help and support. Known to life-long friends as Hala-Lorraine enjoyed knitting but especially loved her Saturday morning garage sale adventures followed by lunch out with friends, always returning with treasures for everyone. Lorraine was a loving and supportive wife to Bruce for over 55 years who will dearly miss her companionship. Mom to Louise, Bruce, and Ron; mom-in-law to John, Patricia, Leslie, and Bev; gramma to Jennifer, Katelyn, Nicole, Colin, Greg, Connor, Cullen, Theresa, and Rob; big gramma to Tyler; sister to Greta, Ron, and Bud; and sister-in-love to Mary and Doreen as well as many in the Owttrim clan; aunt and great aunt - she leaves a special place in the hearts of each of us who love her. Retired from Lamson Corpration after 43 years of Service. Predeceased by her mother Marthel Small (Schroeder) and her father Philip Folger Small. Survived and missed by her daughter Holly Beaudin (Marc), her twin sister Audrey Perolla Dionne, brother Gordon Folger Small (Judy), sisters Philis Vivarais (Garry), Jansene Small, mother Aleta Small, two grandchildren, Daintry Marie Lotito and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. McCulloch, Michelle Freda Primrose (nee Lowe) 1946-2006 - Just shy of her 60th birthday, surrounded by family at Kingston General Hospital on Wednesday August 23, 2006 after a heroic battle against ovarian cancer. Originally of England, Michelle met her lifelong sweetheart and adoring husband of 38 years, Robert (Bob) McCulloch in Montreal. SMOOTHY, Olive Frances (Windrim) - Olive passed peacefully into her heavenly home on August 25, 2006 at Peterborough Manor. Born June 5, 1912, she has now rejoined her husband Tom. Cherished and proud grandmother of Aimie Rout (Tim) of Kapuskasing, Rebecca Palmer of Kingston, Tom Palmer of Whitby, Jennifer Pammett of Toronto and Robert Pammett of Saskatoon, SK. Also survived by her sister Muriel Morden of Lindsay. Predeceased by her brother Percy Windrim, and sisters Ruby Windrim, Verna Patillo and Mayme Windrim. Olive was a Christian believer who was active in the work at Murray St. Baptist Church as long as her health permitted. She will be remembered for her hospitality, her gardens at their home on River Road South, sewing, quilting, upholstery, furniture refinishing and building grandfather clocks with her husband Tom. Mrs. Ford was born in Italy and immigrated with her family to North Bay as an infant where she lived for many years before moving to Niagara Falls. She had been a teacher at Maple Street, Martha Cullimore and Cherrywood Schools, retiring in 1975 after 23 years of service. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and a member of the Retired Teachers of Ontario. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her many neighbours and good friends.
