Elle laisse dans le deuil ses fils Raynald Boucher (Jolène Ravary) et Daniel Boucher (Ailec Romero), sa soeur Georgette (Guy Robichaud), son frère Charles-Eugène, ses petits-enfants Amélie, Oliver et Thalie, ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces, parents et amis(es). McRAE Robert Norman August 31, 1948 - April 22, 2006 Dr. Bob McRae passed away Saturday, April 22, 2006, after a valiant battle against Progressive Supranuclear Palsy. He leaves behind his loving wife Ann; daughter Kate; son Scott and daughter-in-law Sarah; as well as his mother Ruth McRae; his brother Bruce and his sister-in-law Bev. Bob was predeceased by his father Harry in 1987. Growing up in Vancouver, Bob earned his PhD at the University of British Columbia, then taught economics at the University of Calgary from 1977 to 2003. Bob loved his family, his work, his traveling, jogging, cycling, not to mention chocolate and tea. He will be well remembered for his sense of humor, his iron grip, and his imagination. GROSE Pauline Amy Pauline went safely into the arms of God in her 89th year on April 24, 2006. Our quiet, gentle Mother, Tippy Gramma, and Great-Gramma was known for her kindness, hard work, and indomitable spirit. Her great loves in life were her family and her church. Born in Ilford, England in 1917, she lived the first half of her life in London, ON, and came to Calgary in 1957. She was predeceased by her husband, Harry Grose; beloved parents, Colonel and Mrs. R.B. Crouch; her dear brother Robert; son-in-law Gary Fields; and granddaughter Cindy. Beloved Mother of Carol Fields of Simi Valley, California, and Sue Moffatt of Calgary. Pauline is also survived by her grandchildren, Glenn Moffatt (Wanda), Sharmaine Prince (Tom Caldwell), Michelle Jones (Doug), Sheila Rae (Dave), Gary Fields (Blair), Misty Fields, and Peggy Sue Moffatt (Mike Duthie); her adoring great-grandchildren, Danielle, Kimberly, Dustin, Amy, Derek, Kristin, Paulina, Grace, Ashton, Evan, Jace, Elyse, and Blythe; stepdaughters, Eileen Blanchet, Elinor Martin, Sue Arnold and their families; as well as nieces, Sandra Clarke (Ian), Viki Alles (Anthony); nephews, Fred Crouch (Monique) and Robert Crouch (Lisa) and their families. BRUCE Charles John October 3, 1937 - April 22, 2006 It is with deep regret that we announce the untimely passing of Charlie Bruce, beloved husband of Kim Bruce. Charlie left us after a long struggle with cancer. In addition to his wife Kim, Charlie is survived by his daughter Shannon, son Calum and his wife Alison, as well as grandchildren, Laura and Kyle. Charlie immigrated to Canada in 1959 and worked as a geologist with Shell Canada until 1993. After retirement, he and Kim moved to Victoria, where they enjoyed gardening and traveling for six years. In 2003, they moved back to Calgary to enjoy the "Big Sky" country, family and lifelong friends. Alphonse A.J. Noël (1910-2006) l'Acadie Nouvelle - 25 avril 2006 HAUT-LAMÈQUE - À l’Hôpital de Tracadie-Sheila, le dimanche 23 avril 2006, à l’âge de 95 ans et huit mois, est décédé paisiblement entouré de sa famille, Alphonse A.J. Noël, domicilié aux Résidences Mgr Chiasson de Shippagan, mais autrefois de Haut-Lamèque. Il était l’époux en premières noces de feu Eugénie Chiasson, en deuxièmes noces de feu Eliza Caissie et l’ami de feu Cécile Paulin. Né le 6 août 1910, il était fils de feu André J. Noël et de feu Antoinette Savoie. Il laisse dans le deuil une fille: Lina (Roland); trois fils: Freddy (Agathe), Léonard et Jean-Victor; les enfants de sa deuxième épouse; cinq petits-enfants: Eric (Andrée), Stephane (Marie-Josée), Nathalie (Daniel), Elvis (Sylvie) et Yvon (Mélanie); cinq arrière-petits-enfants: Mylène, Adam, Jeremy, Joanie et Justin, ainsi que plusieurs beaux-frères et belles-soeurs. Un fils, Roméo (feu Maria); une petite-fille, Dorice; un petit-fils, Pierre-Luc; deux frères: Wilfred et Jacques, ainsi que deux soeurs: Diana et Lina, l’ont précédé dans la tombe. M. Annette I. Lacasse Enjoyed soap operas and old movies Annette I. “Annie Bananie” Lacasse, 78, of Nashua, died Nov. 23, 2001, at Kindred Hospital in Peabody, Mass. Mrs. Lacasse was born Sept. 25, 1923, in Augusta, Maine, daughter of the late Joseph F. and Adele (Viger) Lacasse. She had lived in Nashua most of her life. She had been employed as an assembler at the former Horton and Hubbard Manufacturing Co. for many years. She was then employed as a machine operator assistant at Gregg’s and Son, also for many years, and as an assembler at Batesville Casket Co. for four or five years. Mrs. Lacasse enjoyed television, especially soap operas and old movies, and also liked doing the crossword puzzles in TV Guide. She was predeceased by three brothers, Adrien J. Lacasse, Arthur W. Lacasse and George Lacasse; and a sister, Yvette Boucher. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Beverly and Paul Thebodeau of Nashua and Dorothy and Richard Gifford of Venice, Fla., four grandchildren, Paul Thebodeau, Paula Thebodeau, George Marshall and Stacey Marshall; nine great-grandchildren, Brent Hibbard, Miranda Hibbard, Michael Marshall, Krystal Marshall, Joshua Poirier, Amanda Marshall, Sean Marshall, Andrew Oehlert and Gillian Thebodeau; five brothers and sisters-in-law, Conrad and Marian Lacasse of Nashua, Hazel Lacasse of Merrimack, Andre and Billie Lacasse of North Port, Fla., Harvey and Helen Lacasse of Hudson, Gerald Lacasse of Concord, and Paul M. and Louise Lacasse of Hudson; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Madeleine and Joseph Burrows of Florida, Roger Boucher and Lorraine Pepin, both of Nashua. MORRIS, David - Peacefully on April 24, 2006 in his 98th year at the Veterans Residence at Sunnybrook. Much loved and loving father of Rochelle (Shelley) Morris, Glazer and Sidney Morris. He will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews including his Florida family and other family members. He was the son of the late Maurice and Tilley. He is predeceased by his sisters Carmel and Sylvia, and brothers Julius, Morton, twin Gordon and Marvin. Beloved husband of the late Bertha Adelstein (1953) and Gertrude Dillick (1988). He will be missed by his many friends at Marlee Avenue. Also survived by Sylvia's husband Heintz Fischel, Marvin's wife Sylvia, Bertha's brother and sister-in-law Albert and Esther Adelstein and Gertrude's sister Dorothy Garten. David served in the RCAF from July 1941 to December 1945 including three years in London, England. He was a kind, gentle and good-hearted person who lived his life well and had the gift of making people around him laugh. STIRTON Margaret Louise 1910 - 2006 Margaret Louise Stirton (nee Woodman) went to join the Lord on Saturday, April 22, 2006. Margaret was born on December 13, 1910, the last of eight children of Sophia and John Woodman of Winnipeg. She traveled extensively in her youth and eventually married Jeffrey Stirton and with him, settled in Ottawa and Edmonton. She was predeceased by her husband Jeffrey, her mother and father and all of her seven brothers and sisters. After her husband's death she wrote and published his biography and later wrote and published her own autobiography. She moved to Calgary in late 2004 to be closer to her family. She is survived by her daughter Sally Reynolds (Peter); son Ted Stirton (Debbie); her daughter-in-law Audrey; four grandchildren, Suzy, Lindsay, Michael and Jeffrey; and by her great-grandson Brayden. The family would like to thank the staff of the Beverly Centre, Glenmore Landing for the care they extended Margaret in her last few months of life and special thanks to Leony and Wennie for their loving care of Mom. SMITH Clinton Hugh December 25, 1913 - April 21, 2006 Clinton was born in Ontario. In 1922, at age eight, he moved west with his family to Claresholm, Alberta. The majority of his life he spent working and farming in the Vauxhall area. Clinton met and married Agnes Rempel in 1953. In 2000, Clinton and Agnes moved to Chestermere where he spent his final years at home near his family. He passed away peacefully at the Foothills Hospital with his family at his side. Clinton will be lovingly missed by Agnes, his wife of fifty-three years; daughter Laureen (Terry) Rich of Regina and their children, Colin, Sharla, Cara, Melanie; and daughter Sharon (Nick) Woronuk of Chestermere and their children, Bradley, Curtis and Heather. Lorraine M. Larouche Worked as sales department manager at Fileneís Lorraine M. (Voyer) Larouche, 49, of Merrimack, died unexpectedly Monday, Nov. 26, 2001, at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester. Mrs. Larouche was born Hartford, Conn., daughter of Joyce (Garrett) Voyer and the late Emile Voyer. She grew up in Bloomfield, Conn. She to Enfield, Conn., in 1982 before moving to New Hampshire three years ago. She was the widow of Denis Eli Larouche. Mrs. Larouche worked as sales department manager for Filene’s. She enjoyed playing cards and bingo and putting together puzzles and making crafts. Mrs. Larouche was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Bloomfield. She attended Bloomfield schools. Besides her mother, survivors include two sons, Denis E. Larouche of North Carolina and Daniel Larouche of Springfield, Mass.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Michelle and Steven Markowski of Springfield and Lori and Scott Tomlin of New Jersey; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Emile Jr. and Kathy Voyer of Plainville, Conn., and Andrew Voyer of Nashua; a sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Marc Gallucci of East Hartford, Conn.; three grandchildren, Erika, Emily and Joshua; and several nieces and nephews. Annette I. Lacasse Enjoyed soap operas and old movies Annette I. “Annie Bananie” Lacasse, 78, of Nashua, died Nov. 23, 2001, at Kindred Hospital in Peabody, Mass. Mrs. Lacasse was born Sept. 25, 1923, in Augusta, Maine, daughter of the late Joseph F. and Adele (Viger) Lacasse. She had lived in Nashua most of her life. Lacasse and George Lacasse; and a sister, Yvette Boucher. George Gravel Retired Manchester fire captain George Gravel, 55, of Manchester, died Nov. 24, 2001, at Catholic Medical Center, from injuries sustained in a fall at his home. He was born in Manchester on Nov. 9, 1946, the son of Alphee and Georgette (Beaupre) Gravel and had been a lifelong resident. He was a firefighter with the Manchester Fire Department for 21 years and retired as Captain. He was with the Army National Reserve for six years and was an avid golfer and snow skier. Joseph H.L. Desfosses Served in Air Force during Korean War Joseph H.L. Desfosses, 67, died Nov. 17, 2001, at a local hospital. Mr. Desfosses was born in New York City on Jan. 25, 1934, the son of Hector and Adrienne (Lemieux) Desfosses. He was a resident of Hooksett for the past year and a half, coming from Manchester where he lived until then. At the time of his employment, Mr. Desfosses was a manager with Volume, Inc./Mobil Oil corporation. He was a veteran, and served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War in North Africa. A devoted family man, his interests included hunting, fishing, NASCAR racing and baseball. Family members include his wife of 46 years, Marion (Smith) Desfosses of Hooksett; six children, Charles H. She was extremely artistic, took an interest in world events, was passionate about animal welfare, and enjoyed the camaraderie she found singing with the Mapleridge Seniors Choir. SCOTT, Findlay Walter WWII Veteran Peacefully in the hospital on April 22, 2006 at 6 p.m. Survived by his loving wife Dorothy, sons Bruce, Thomas and Glenn; grandsons Alex, Eric and Justin and sister Catherine Bell. Born in Vancouver B.C. in 1923. He served as an RCAF navigator based in England during WWII. On his return from WWII he studied at the University of British Columbia where he earned a degree in Architecture. Many public buildings within the Vancouver area were created by his hand. Retired from the federal public service in Ottawa after a number of years. He was an active member of the Manotick community. Private family service. Born November 24, 1941 in Windsor, Ontario, he served with the Canadian Forces (Army) for 31 years (1960-1991) and retired with the rank of MWO. Jack was a man with many interests and passions.
