Bessie May Oulton Horsman 1913 - 2005 The death of Bessie M. Horsman, 92, of Bromley Avenue, Moncton occurred at The Moncton Hospital on Saturday, October 15, 2005. Born in Jolicure, NB on April 24, 1913, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Eva (Phinney) Oulton. A graduate of the Provincial Normal School in 1931, Mrs. Horsman taught school in Westmorland Co. and for 25 years in Moncton. She is survived by her daughter, Diane (Leigh) Manning of Moncton; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Jack H. Horsman in 1975; by her sisters, Alice Bowser and Eleanor Reeder; and her brother, Ralph Oulton. It was Bessie's request that there not be visiting hours or funeral service. FAIRFIELD -- Katherine "Katie" Ernestine (Grenier) Leary passed away quietly into the arms of our Lord surrounded by her loving family Thursday, Oct. 13, 2005.She was born in Winslow on April 21, 1920, to Marjorique and Josephine (Madore) Grenier. She attended Winslow schools and married Milton Kenneth Leary Oct. 18, 1937. They resided and raised their family in Fairfield for 68 years. Katie was an amazing homemaker and also worked in the Kennebec Mills, Colby College, Mount St. Joseph and School Administrative District 49.She was fondly called "Grams" by each and every one of her family and welcomed us into her life with a smile and a cup of coffee. Her Bartlett Street home will be in our hearts forever.Kate loved watching her birds, soaps and had a fondness for the coast of Maine and it's lighthouses.She was predeceased by her husband, Milton Kenneth Leary, in 1985; a son, Milton Joseph, in 1940; a daughter, Mary, in 1944; and a son, Reginald Keith Leary in 2002. Janet Louise Collette, 79, of Thiensville, Wisconsin, passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2005, at her second home in Cocoa Beach, Florida, surrounded buy her loving husband and family. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio, where she was a figure skater; attended Purdue University of West Lafayette, Indiana; was an active member of Crossroads Presbyterian Church in Mequon, Wisconsin, working as a volunteer in accounting for nearly forty years; and volunteered at the Weyenberg Library of Mequon-Thiensville, working in the stacks for nearly forty years where circulation grew to 350,000. Along with her lifetime engagement in community service, she was a long-time subscriber of the Milwaukee Repertory Theater, cared for domestic and wild animals, enjoyed gardening, traveling, walking, downhill skiing and summer sailing, and was an avid reader of current events and all-around sports fan.Janet is survived by her Husband of 57 years, David Walton Collette. Daughter, Janine Collette. Sons, Jeff Collette (Ann) of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Thomas Collette (Renee) of East Troy, WI and John Collette (Marion) of Hesperia, CA. Beloved husband of Theda (nee Absalom) Armstrong. He was happily and so perfectly married to Pat for 27 years, and was the proud and supportive father of Kate, Jen and John. Son of the late Elmer and Eleanor Muldoon. Adored brother of Shirley (Gerry Nigra) and Audrey (late Mike Hanniman). Model uncle to Doug, Kurt, Neal, Ben, Sarah, Simon, Heather, Gordon, Colin and Rachel. Son-in-law of Harvey and the late Frances Beardmore. Admired brother-in-law of Richard (Marianne), Anne (Jim), Carol (Garry), Diane (Derek) and the late Ian. Throughout his life he effortlessly created a lasting impression upon everyone he met. He often became the subtle pillar for many groups of people. PEMBERTON, Doris Doris Pemberton, 100, of Ottawa passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 12, 2005 at the Garry Armstrong Long Term Care Home in Ottawa. Born in South Dublin, Ireland she was the daughter of the late William and Freda (Kraft) Crawford. She spent her early years in Manchester and Southport, England, emigrating to Canada in 1949 residing in Cornwall, Ontario, Moncton New Brunswick, Toronto and Ottawa. She was an accomplished cook and homemaker and excelled at knitting. She traveled frequently, especially to Barbados and Yorkshire, England. Doris is survived by her son Pete, and his wife Ruth, of Old Saybrook CT, her grandsons Robert of Ledyard CT and Sean of Kingston, Ontario, her granddaughter Ellen of Hamden CT and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased in death by her beloved husband Fred in 2003, her son Michael and her brothers and sisters. There are no funeral services and no memorial contributions. LYNCH, Carl Vincent. It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Carl Lynch on Friday, October 14, 2005 after a lengthy illness. Beloved husband of Anna (Rush) for forty-nine years, and proud and loving father of Karen, Charles (deceased), Nancy, Sheila (Eric), David (Arden) and Colleen (Patrick). Much loved Granddad of Aidan (Le Sausse), Kelvin (Langner), Sean (Lynch), John (Le Sausse), Kayla (Langner), and Ryan and Colin (Lynch). Born in Marmora, Ontario, Carl was the eldest son of the late Vincent Lynch and Anna (Maloney). He is survived by two sisters: Patricia (Barry) Olson of Vancouver, B.C., and Anna (James) Cosgrove of Havelock, and four brothers: Morris (Bernadette) of Marmora, Doug (Eleanor) of Deloro, Keith (Yola) of Havelock, and Vincent (Joy) of Belleville. In 1952, Carl graduated from Queen's University with a Bachelor of Science in Metallurgical Engineering. He began his career with General Motors Diesel in London, Ontario, moving to Deloro Stellite before joining the Aluminum Company of Canada (ALCAN) in Kingston in 1957.In 1961, he transferred to ALCAN's Montreal Head Office, where,over the course of thirty years, Carl earned an international reputation as a leader in his field. The family will receive friends at the McConnell Funeral Home Marmora from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday. Mass of Christian Burial in Scared Heart of Jesus Roman Catholic Church, Marmora on Wednesday October 19, 2005. at 10:30 a.m. Interment Sacred Heart Cemetery. G. Kent Clarke 1941 - 2005 Kent Clarke, 64, of Riverview passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Thursday, October 13, 2005 after a brief battle with cancer. Born in Summerside, P.E.I, he was the son of Dorothy (Parkman) Clarke of Summerside and the late George Clarke. Kent was a successful businessman and previous owner of Price Contractors and Magnetic Hill Golf & Country Club, member of St. George's Anglican Church. Kent was the recipient of the Chamber of Commerce Excellence Award (1990), Chamber of Commerce volunteer of the year (1992) and Certified Sommelier. He pursued many hobbies especially Salmon fishing.
