ADAIR, Kelly S. Suddenly at home in Dunedin Florida Friday June 25th, 2004 in his 54th year. Beloved son of Jeanne and Thomas, and dear brother of Timothy (Peggy), Shaun (Judith), and Annalee (Joseph). Fondly remembered by nephews Jae River and Caley, nieces Caitlin, Alli and Luka, partner Sue Whitton, and many cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. A Memorial Service to celebrate his life will be held on Saturday July 3rd at 1:00 p.m. at St. John's Catholic Church, 262 Stone Street, Gananoque, Ontario. Yolande Gordon (1937-2004) l'Acadie Nouvelle - 30 juin 2004 - Le mardi 29 juin 2004, à l’âge de 67 ans, est décédée après une longue maladie Yolande Gordon. Née à Montréal le 20 février 1937, elle était fille de feu Edgar et de feu Ida (Hebert) Leger de Shediac Bridge. Elle laisse dans le deuil ses filles: Jyl Gordon de Moncton et Sheryl Gordon de Halifax; ses frères: Edgar de Moncton et Richard de Shédiac, ainsi qu’une soeur, Claudette Fontaine de Caissie Cape. Son époux, Max Gordon, l’a précédée dans la tombe. Yolande a étudié à Saint-Jérôme, Qc et a enseigné l’économie domestique à Memramcook. Elle était une passionnée du curling, du petit point, de la cuisine, du patinage et de la danse. Elle aimait voyager et passer du temps avec ses amis et sa famille. Elle était une mère aimante et dévouée. Son accueil et son sourire chaleureux illuminaient toutes les pièces. Elle avait une générosité incomparable. Elle manquera beaucoup à tous ceux qui ont eu la chance de la connaître. Que sa lumière continue de briller à travers ceux qui l’ont le plus aimée. Ses filles garderont toujours son souvenir dans leur coeur. Selon les souhaits de Yolande, il n’y aura pas de visites au salon funéraire. She had a passion for curling, petit-point, cooking, skating, dancing, world travel and enjoyed spending time with friends and loved ones. A loving and devoted mother whose warm smile and welcoming ways could brighten any room. Her caring ways were unparalleled and as such she will be tremendously missed by all who were fortunate to have known her. May her light continue to shine through those who loved her best. She is survived by her daughters, Jyl Gordon of Moncton and Sheryl Gordon of Halifax; brothers, Edgar Leger of Moncton and Richard Leger of Shediac and sister, Claudette Fontaine of Caissie Cape. Campbell: Ion Mr. Ion Campbell of Drumheller, passed away in Drumheller on May 31, 2004 at the age of 74 years. Ion is survived by his loving family, wife Donna, children; Sandy (Marie-Rose) of Airdrie, Earl of Fort MacLeod, Ron of Fort MacLeod, Darcy (Val) of Fort MacLeod, Beth (Troy) of Calgary, grandchildren; Carmen, Dakota, Adam, Fallon, Reanne, brother, Robert Campbell of St. Albert, sister, Margaret Turner of Calgary, numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. Ion was born on July 19, 1929 at Cabri, Saskatchewan to James & Hannah Campbell. He took his education in Empress, upon completion he was employed with C.P.R. He then took up employment with the Alberta Gas Trunkline, which later became Nova. Ion and his family lived primarily in Drumheller and Fort MacLeod. Ion enjoyed reading, watching T.V., puttering in the yard, woodworking and spending time with his family. Valentini: Jeannette Marie 1943 - 2004 It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Jeannette Marie Valentini in Drumheller on June 2, 2004 at the age of 60 years. Jeannette was born on November 19, 1943 in Drumheller to William and Amelia Walker. She took her schooling in the Valley. Jeannette worked and served the public with pride for forty years in the restaurant industry. She loved to camp, garden, and craft. She had her own bed and breakfast for two years, which enabled her to meet people from all over, which was special to Jeannette. She was also a member of Beta Sigma Phi for many years. Jeannette enjoyed her family and travelling with her husband on back of his motorcycle. Jeannette will be sadly missed by her loving family and a lifetime of friends. She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband Ernie, daughter, Teresa Fahrion, son, Ernest (Rose) Valentini, grandchildren, Steven, Kristy, Melissa all of Drumheller, mother, Amelia Walker, sisters, Diane Winkler, Susan (Bruce) Rees, Irene (Sandy) Brown, Mary (Dennis) MacAreavy, brothers, Stan (Diane) Walker, Murray Walker. Derhousoff: Ingeborg Marie Conrad (Skytt) 1925 - 2004 Ingeborg Derhousoff, wife, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away quickly and peacefully Tuesday, June 8, 2004 in Drumheller. She was surrounded by her loving family who remained at her side throughout her brief stay at the hospital. Against all odds, Mother incredibly survived for eight years following her diagnosis with terminal cancer. Mother s remarkable strength and determination allowed her to live her life on her own terms and to it's fullest. Born in Wayne, Alberta August 14, 1925, Ingeborg lived a long and fulfilling life. She faced the challenge of raising a large family who were a source of both pride and support. Mom enjoyed the company of friends and family and will always be known for her good nature, warmth and hospitality. Mother s memory will live on in the hearts and minds of her children Maureen (George) Kashuba, Judy (Brian) Sherman, Beverly (Ken) Hubert, David Derhousoff, Kathy (Jeff) DeMott, Terri (Andrew) Beattie; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 17, 2004 at the Drumheller Inn, in Drumheller at 2 p.m. "Mom, if love could have saved you, You would live forever."

King: Russell 1935 - 2004 Russell was born in Drumheller to Archie and Mary Belle King August 15th, 1935. He died suddenly on his farm, June 18th, 2004. He is survived by his wife Shirley, three children, Allan King of Drumheller, Sandra Rowell of High Level, and Brian King of Rocky Mountain House. He has four grandchildren, Trenton Rowell, Melissa Rowell, Venessa Rowell and Bryce Rowell. He was predeceased by his father in 1951, His mother Mary King in 1982, an infant daughter Elizabeth in 1960 and his sister Marie Stanger in 1997. He was raised in the Michichi area and attended the Mount Carmel school. He went to high school in Drumheller while living in the Drumheller Dormitory After the death of his father his mother, moved to Drumheller. After graduation he worked in the unemployment office there and then went farming for his brother-in-law, Ron Stanger. He then bought a dairy herd from Ernie Cousins and started farming on his own. He married Shirley Burroughs in 1958 and they made their home and started raising their family on the old farmstead. They moved to the river land east of Rosedale in 1963. They then moved north west of Caroline in 1975 and Russell again milked cows until the herd was replaced by a beef herd. Russell lived there until his death. Russell was elected to the council of the Local Improvement District #10 in 1980, He served on many committees and chaired many boards. He worked hard to achieve the amalgamation of the I.D. to a Municipality., and then later to a County. He was on the Red Deer Health Unit and the Caroline Recreation Board as well. Some of the boards he chaired were West View Lodge, the Development Appeal board, The Fire Department and Ambulance boards, the Assessment Appeal Board and CAB (the Caroline Advisory Board). He also served a term as Reeve. He retired from council in 2001 after 21 years of service. He then became a member of the David Thompson Regional Health Authority, where he worked on several committees. He was a member of two Provincial Justice committees that assesses candidates for Judges. He also found time to become a member and Chairman of the Caroline Volunteer Ambulance Board. Russell was well known for his common sense decisions and bringing a different approach to the table on all the boards that he served. Russell was a friend and helper to all and will be sadly missed.

Moar: Clinton James Garson 1958 - 2004 It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Clint Moar on June 19, 2004 at the age of 45 years. Clint was born on December 13, 1958 to Marcus and Alice Moar in Drumheller, Alberta. He was the eldest of three children. Clint took all his schooling in the Drumheller Valley. Upon completion of high school, Clint took three years of Mechanics in Calgary. This proved to be very handy as Clint loved to tinker with cars, trucks, and farm machinery. He spent some time hunting and fishing. Clint along with his brother John farmed the family land, he enjoyed the outdoors, and he had a love of animals. Spending time with his family was Clint s greatest joy, especially his children. He also enjoyed his retreat to the river where he spent his quiet hour. In the last three years Clint put forth a lot of effort and time to put on the famous "Mud Bog" at his farm which he had a lot of fun doing. Clint was predeceased by his father Marcus James Moar on December 25, 1996. Clint leaves to cherish his memory his children; son Chad (Kim), daughter Molly, his mom Alice, brother John (Wanda), sister Maureen (Mel), chosen daughters Katie, Megan, Tara, his niece Teanna and his nephew Grayson, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a lifetime of friends. The family invites everyone to come and share their own memories of Clint over light refreshments at the Orkney Community Hall on Thursday June 24, 2004 at 3:00 P.M. Fleming: Elizabeth Eliabeth Fleming passed away Sunday, June 27, 2004 at the age of 71 years. She was pre-deceased by three siblings in infancy, her parents John and Annie Hewalo, a sister Pearl Procyk and a brother, Fred Hewalo. Liz is survived by her husband, David of 43 years, son Don (Heather) Fleming of Stettler, daughter Mary (Terry) Langman of Regina and a son John of Delia, grandchildren Pamela (Gary) Retzer of Regina, Tiffany and Timothy Langman of Regina, Leigh, Lindal, Melanie, Anisley and Aryele Fleming. She is also survived by brothers John (Phyllis) Hewalo of Thunder Bay, ON; Murray (Laurencia) Hewalo of Montartre, SK; Sisters Tina (Tom) Soames of Langley, BC; Evelyn Spencer of Vancouver BC; Nancy (Floyd) Stoudt of Saskatoon SK; Olga Edl of Calgary; Mary Culbreth of St. Petersburg FL and Diana (Hank) Dolvd of Whitehorse. Elizabeth was born October 30, 1932 on the family farm at Montmartre, SK. She acquired her education in a one room school house in the Camelot school district. Elizabeth went on to take a business course in Regina where she continued to live and work until 1956, when she moved with sisters Mary and Olga to Calgary. A few of the places Elizabeth worked at as a bookkeeper were Sturdy Propane in Regina, Canadian Propane, Totem Lumber and Superstrong Aluminum in Calgary. She most recently worked at Bob Mark's Pontiac in Hanna. Elizabeth enjoyed hobbies such as gardening, needlework, decorating Ukrainian Easter Eggs and rock picking with her family. Funeral will be held on July 5, 2004 at 1:00 pm at Delia Christian Fellowship Church in Delia, AB. Interment at Delia Community Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, friends and family are encouraged to donate to the Canadian Diabetic Association or the charity of their choice.

LUSSIER _Rene J. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear husband, father and grandfather. Rene was born on June 17, 1917 and he passed away peacefully on June 27, 2004. Left to mourn are his loving family, wife, Barb; daughters, Monique (Al) Gogol of Kelowna, BC, Debbie (Rich) Matheson of Saskatoon, Connie Lussier of Edmonton, Claudette (Glenn) Lindsay of New Brunswick, Rene's five granddaughters, Celeste and Alyson Gogol, Heather, Kim and Elise Matheson and two grandsons, Alex and Cameron Lindsay; two sisters, Henriette of Ontario and Salonge of BC. Rene was born born near Mariapolis, MB and he moved to Nut Mountain SK when he was 14 years old. Later moved to Weekes, SK and finally settled in Saskatoon in 1959. He worked as a custodian for the public school board for many years. He remembered with great fondness the 12 years he worked at City Park Collegiate prior to his retirement. Rene was a super dad who spent time with his children. Rene and Barb took their family on many travels across the country, many weekends were spent camping, fishing, canoeing or just relaxing at the acreage at Pike Lake. He faithfully attended St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church since 1959. Barb and Rene celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on a Carribean Cruise in February 2004 with two of their daughters and one granddaughter. Husband, father, grandfather and friend of many, he will be sadly missed by us all. We Love You Dad. NEILLY, Homer Baynes Passed away on Friday, June 25, 2004 at Bronson Place, Ottawa, Ontario. His loving wife Olive predeceased him in 1999. Beloved brother of Vivian Elliott, uncle of Denise and Scott, grand-uncle of Erin, and uncle of Ralph and Philip Spear. Predeceased by his brothers Earl (2003), Harold (2001), and brother-in-law Ted (1997). Homer obtained a B.A. and M.A. degree in Political Science and Economics from University College, University of Toronto and Cornell University, Ithaca, N.Y. respectively. During W.W. II Homer was employed at Research and Development in Toronto (Leaside) testing "Radar". In the mid-fifties he moved to Lachine, Quebec and was employed by the C.N.R. in Montreal. Later Homer accepted a position in the Federal Government in Ottawa at the Department of Transportation in the Policy and Planning Division. As an economist, Homer drafted legislation to be presented to Parliament. After twenty-five years service he retired. Burial has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, July 2, 2004 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 235 Kent Street, Ottawa. RAMMLER, Norbert Anthony 54 years. Passed away Sunday June 27, 2004 peacefully at home after a valiant battle with cancer, surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Lynn (nee Lamaire).
