MIRON, Gilbert 1924 2004 À Montréal, le 20 janvier 2004, à l'âge de 79 ans, est décédé monsieur Gilbert Miron. Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse qui l'a accompagné pendant 59 ans, madame Madeleine Bournival; ses enfants: Jocelyne (Richard Bastien), Gérald (Anke Dieckell) de San Miguel, Costa Rica, et Nicole (François Larose); ses petits-enfants: Dr Steven G. Miron, m.d. (Olga Leon) d'Alajuela, Costa Rica, Me Isabelle Bastien, LL.M. (Me Yannick Godeau), David A. Miron de Leeds, Angleterre, et Mélanie Bastien, LL.B., B.A. Gest.; ses arrière-petites-filles: Adriana et Nicole Miron et Catherine Godeau. Dernier survivant de la famille d'industriels montréalais, il a grandement contribué à façonner le visage de Montréal. En association avec ses frères, il a fondé les entreprises Miron & Frères ltée, Ciment Indépendant inc., de Joliette, Carrières Montréal-Est (1965) ltée, Les-Mir Construction inc. et Fermes Miron ltée, de St Augustin, gagnante du championnat mondial des trotteurs en 1962. La famille tient à remercier le personnel du Centre hospitalier de St-Mary, et particulièrement le personnel du département de chirurgie et de l'unité des soins intensifs, pour les soins apportés au défunt et pour la sympathie qui leur a été témoignée. WRIGHT, Kenneth (Ken). Passed away peacefully after a short illness on Thursday, January 22, 2004 at the Lakeshore General Hospital at the age of seventy-seven years, beloved husband of Lillian (nee Carpenter). Father of Andrew and Jacqueline (Maurice Vialette), grandfather of Alexandre and Nicholas. SAINTE-MARIE-SAINT-RAPHAËL À l’Hôpital de Lamèque, le mercredi 21 janvier 2004, à l’âge de 78 ans, est décédé Lazare M. Chiasson, époux de feu Alma David (30 décembre 1995), domicilié à Sainte-Marie-Saint-Raphaël. Née le 29 octobre 1925, il était fils de feu Martin Chiasson et de feu Ida Haché. Il laisse dans le deuil deux filles: Hectorine (Norbert I. Chiasson) et Corinne (Jean-Eudes Paulin), toutes deux de Sainte-Marie-Saint-Raphaël; deux fils: Ronald (Liette Arsenault) d’Inkerman et Paul-Émile (son amie Jeannette McGrath) de Tracadie-Sheila; un petit-fils, Stéphane (Shirley Bertin) de Tracadie-Sheila, que son grand-père a bien voulu garder avec lui; deux brus: Nicole Chiasson de Haut-Lamèque et Huguette Thomas de Losier Settlement; une soeur, Bertha (Wilma Chiasson) de Sainte-Marie-Saint-Raphaël; deux frères: Norbert de Sainte-Marie-Saint-Raphaël et Gilbert de Four Roads; quatre belles-soeurs: Estelle (feu Wilmond Chiasson) et Hectorine (feu Almidas Chiasson), toutes deux d’Allardville, Laura Couture de Sudbury, Ont. et Rita David de Lamèque, ainsi que 12 petits-enfants, huit arrière-petits-enfants et plusieurs neveux et nièces. Quatre soeurs: Léda, Alfreda, Alvine et Ida, ainsi que quatre frères: Albert, Clovis, Almidas et Wilmond l’ont précédé dans la tombe. La dépouille mortelle est présentement exposée au salon «La Colombe», 18, rue de l’Église à Sainte-Marie-Saint-Raphaël. Les funérailles auront lieu en l’église Saint-Raphaël de Sainte-Marie-Saint-Raphaël, le samedi 24 janvier, à 13h. Heures de visites: le vendredi 23 janvier, de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h et le samedi 24 janvier, de 11h à 12h45. Pour ceux qui le désirent, un don à la Société canadienne du cancer serait apprécié. (1903-2004) TRACADIE-SHEILA À l’Hôpital de Tracadie-Sheila, le mercredi 21 janvier 2004, à l’âge de 100 ans, est décédée Sara Célina Vienneau, épouse de feu Michel Vienneau, domiciliée à Tracadie-Sheila. Née le 26 juillet 1903, elle était fille de feu Fabien Savoie et de feu Marguerite Vienneau. Elle laisse dans le deuil une fille, Dorina (feu Benoit Bertin), avec qui elle demeurait, de Tracadie-Sheila; deux fils: Norbert (Yvonne Kenny) de Six Roads et Fabien de Haut-Sheila; deux demi-soeurs: Gertrude (Sylvère LeBreton) de Leech et Marguerite (feu Fred Landry) de Barnaby River; un demi-frère, Camille (Viola Brideau) de Leech, ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces. Trois enfants: Marguerite, Rita et Abraham, ainsi que cinq frères et trois soeurs, l’ont précédée dans la tombe. Mme Vienneau a eu la chance de connaître sa sixième génération. Elle a plusieurs petits-enfants, arrière-petits-enfants, arrière-arrière-petits-enfants et arrière-arrière-arrière-petits-enfants. La dépouille mortelle est présentement exposée à la Maison funéraire Robichaud, 3875, rue Principale à Tracadie-Sheila. Les funérailles auront lieu en l’église Notre-Dame-de-la-Salette de Sheila, le samedi 24 janvier, à 11h. L’inhumation se fera au cimetière paroissial. Heures de visites: le vendredi 23 janvier, de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h et le samedi 24 janvier, de 9h jusqu’au départ pour les funérailles. COTTINGHAM, Barbara JoAnne (nee Smith) COTTINGHAM, Richard Ian Each passing peacefully surrounded by those they loved. FRANKLIN, Patricia (Nee Snuggs) This wonderful lady passed away at home in her sleep on January 21, 2004. AIELLO, Anita Louise - On Tuesday January 20, 2004 Anita passed away peacefully at the age of 50 with her family at her side, after a long and courageous battle with Cancer.
