Helen Hill, of Barrie, formerly of Capreol, beloved wife of the late Tom Hill. Loving mother of George Henry and his wife Carolyn of Barrie, Denise MacKinnon and husband Roland of Capreol, and stepmother of David Hill of Toronto, and Phyliss Hill of Orillia. Dear sister of Cecil Dennie of Orillia, Hazel Bean of Mattawa, Evelyn Clearey of Barrie, and the late Victoria, Clifford, Maxwell, Joseph, and Alexander. Elle était l'épouse bien-aimée de feu Jacques St-Pierre, la fille de feu Cosmos St-Jean et de feu Clothilde D'Auray. Outre son époux et ses parents, elle fut prédécédée également par son petit-fils Eric. BALDWIN, Helen Doris - Passed away peacefully in her 89th year at Barton Manor in Hastings, Ontario, on December 28, 2003. Helen was predeceased by her husbands Frank Laurie and Frank Baldwin. She will be missed by her sons Frank and Jerry and daughter-in-law Nancy. She is survived by her sister of Jenny of Cleveland; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Alieen and Eric in Cobourg. Helen was grandmother to Frank of Barrie, Kimberley of Toronto, Tyler and Renee of Edmonton and Travis and Kaily of Peterborough. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, and a long time resident of Ennismore, Ontario, where she built and operated Camp Cleveland for many years. Her fondest memories were when the dining room was full of friends and guests sitting down to one of her famous meals. Helen made sure that no one ever left her table wanting or without a smile on their face. She will be remembered for this and by all the people whose lives she touched over the years. For her the dinner bell has rung for the last time, at least in this time and place. In respect of her wishes there will not be a service and she will be laid to rest with her husband Frank. Georgie N. Prosser 1910 - 2004 Georgie N. Prosser, of Lakeview Manor, Riverview and formerly of Lewisville, NB passed away at her residence on Friday, January 2, 2004 at the age of 93 years. Born in Parkindale, NB on September 27, 1910 she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Eva (Brown) Prosser. She was a member of Lewisville United Baptist Church, Moncton, also she was a member of the W.M.S. within the church. Georgie was the longest surviving patient confirmed in New Brunswick. She is survived by daughters, Lynn Reade of Lutes Mountain, and Marjorie Prosser of Riverview; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Wendell Earl Prosser in 1995; son-in-law, John Reade in 1996; and brother, Stephen. ROBINSON, BERTRAM LEONARD The death of Bertram L. Robinson of Fredericton, NB occurred on Saturday, January 3rd, 2004 at his residence. Born in London, England, he was the son of Henry and Mary Robinson and husband of the late Nina Robinson. Robbie, as his friends knew him, served in both the British Army and the Royal Canadian Air Force. Upon leaving the Air Force he went on to a distinguished career in the private sector in Washington, DC, before retiring to Fredericton. He was a strong and supportive father, a man who led by example and who remained independent of mind and spirit until the end. His ability to entertain and regale others with his anecdotes and amusing tales was a great source of pleasure to those around him. Survived by one son John (Shauna) of Scotsburn, NS, and one son - in - law, Pat Beggs of Fredericton, NB, four grand children, and three great grandchildren. Alden Smith Little 1907 - 2004 KOUCHIBOUGUAC, NB - Alden Smith Little of Kouchibouguac, NB, passed away at the Lions Nursing Home, Rexton, NB on Sunday, January 4, 2004 at the age of 96. Born in Kouchibouguac, NB he was the son of the late Jonathen R. Little and Elizabeth R. (MacLeod) Little. He was employed as a farmer and storekeeper. Alden attended the Knox Presbyterain Church, Kouchibouguac, he was a Church Elder, Past Master of St. Andrew's Masonic Lodge No. 16 F. & A.M. and was also a member of the Eastern Star. He is survived by two sons, Roland (Annette) of Kouchibouguac, Harold of Saint John; six grandchildren, Trevor, Troy, Elaine, Alan, Patty, Corey and two great grandchildren, Sheldon and Madison; sister-in-law, Gertrude MacDonald of Kouchibouguac and brother-in-law, Earl MacDonald of Saint John. McCARTHY, Sister Agnes (Sister Agnes Clare) entered into her eternal rest at Mount St. Joseph, Peterborough, ON on January 4, 2004 in the 71st year of her religious life. She was the daughter of the late John McCarthy and his wife Winnifred Hogan of Peterborough. Besides members of her religious community, she leaves to mourn several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her brother Lawrence, and her sisters Grace (Mrs. Robert Hayden), Sister Anne McCarthy, CSJ, and Mary (Mrs. M.J. Mahoney) (Martyn). Sister Agnes received her elementary and secondary education in Peterborough and received her teacher's certificate from Peterborough Normal School. She obtained her B.A. from the University of Toronto and a diploma in French Studies from Laval University. Sister Agnes taught in Clandonald, Alberta, Cobourg, Lindsay, St. Andrews West and Peterborough. She served her community as Directress of the Novitiate for several years and after her retirement tutored in Vancouver, Clandonald and Lindsay.
