Née le 30 novembre 1914, elle était fille de feu Serenus Thibodeau et de feu Louise Arseneau. Elle laisse dans le deuil un fils, Richard Lemay de Moncton; un neveu spécial, Valmond Arseneau de Tracadie-Sheila; un frère, Gérard Thibodeau (Olizine Basque) de Rivière-à-la-Truite, ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces. Un fils adoptif, Roger; cinq soeurs: Marie-Anne, Josephine, Cécilia, Lise et Brigitte, ainsi que deux frères: Fred et Dosithé l’ont précédée dans la tombe. La dépouille mortelle est présentement exposée à la Coopérative funéraire «La Colombe», 667, chemin Saulnier Ouest à Tracadie-Sheila. Albert Gale Trifts YOUNG'S COVE, NB - Albert G. Trifts of Young's Cove, NB, in his 87 year, passed away peacefully in the presence of family at the Moncton Hospital on November 23, 2003 after a courageous battle with leukemia and Parkinson's Disease. Born in Young's Cove on March 13, 1917, the son of the late Walter and Nellie (Gale) Trifts. He was a Second World War veteran. During his life he was employed in road construction for many summers as grade foreman and in the winter he worked as a CPR trucker. His favorite employment was the time he spent as a woodsman. He and his wife operated Trift's Grocery in Young's Cove until 1991. He was an avid hunter, gardener and outdoorsman. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 63 years, Gertie (Ripley); four children, Betty (Ron) Hooper of Petitcodiac, Dr. Robert (Celine) of Bass River, Dr. Jack (Jan) of Portland, ME, and Pat (Ken) Margeson of Moncton; nine grandchildren, Margo, Jan and Ron Hooper, Rob, Jon and Ben Trifts, Alyssa, Stephanie and Bradley Margeson; as well as five great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his only sister, Lu Reese. Following cremation, a funeral service will be held at St. Luke's Anglican Church, Young's Cove on Wednesday, November 26 at 11 am. Interment in the adjoining cemetery. At Albert's request, there will be no visitation at the funeral home. A reception will follow the funeral service. Survived by three sons, Scott, Shawn and Mike all of Minto; a daughter, Kim Dykeman (Doug West) of Chipman; a granddaughter, Destiny Faith; two brothers, Walter of Minto and Albert of Kingston Peninsula; five sisters Doreen Young, Ethel Milberry, Barbara Hoyt (Arnold Walsh), Leota Mountain (Steve) all of Minto and Linda Sabien (Wayne) of Barnsville; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Norman was predeceased by his wife Donna Dykeman in 2000; three brothers, Edgar, James and Harold; two sisters, Bernice McNeil and Christina Maston. She was a nurse up until her retirement in 1995, after which she was able to persue her passion for crafts which she was very happy to both make and give away to her family and many friends. Anna Marie Power 1914 - 2003 Anna Marie Power, of Royal Court, Riverview, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Saturday, November 22, 2003 at the age of 88 years. Born in Kingston, Ont., November 28, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Graydon and Sarah (Murphy) Greer. Anna was a life long member of St. Francis Xavier Church in Brockville, ON. She had received her 50th year pin from the C.W.L. and was a long time member of the St. Vincent de Paul Hospital Auxiliary. She was instrumental in starting the 2nd company of Girl Guides in 1947, and also a longtime member of Brockville Country Club and Lawn Bowling Association. She is survived by daughter, Mildred "Millie" of Riverview and one son, John (Margaret) of Toronto; six grandchildren, Robert (Michelle) Mepham of Halifax, Lisa Mepham of Hamilton, ON, Marianne (David) Mepham of Riverview, Stephan (Heather) Power, Christina Power and Edward Power, all of Toronto, and six great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, John Edward "Ted" in 1967; a daughter, Mary Elizabeth "Beth" in 1968; sister, Laura in 1999 and a brother, Samuel in 1965. Paisiblement et entouré de l'amour des siens, dans le confort de son domicile, le 19 novem-bre 2003, est décédé à l'âge de 77 ans, M. Norman Melling, demeurant à Victoria, C.-B. M. Melling est né en Angleterre. Il a émigré à Magog en 1952 et a déménagé à Trois-Riviè-res en 1966 pour travailler dans le domaine des textiles pour la Wabasso et ensuite pour la compagnie Knit Printers. Ayant toujours dé-montré de l'intégrité, il était juste et gentil. Volontaire pendant plusieurs années au Trois-Rivières High School, marguillier de St Andrew's United Church, maître scout, il fut un membre actif dans la communauté de Trois-Rivières dans plusieurs autres domai-nes. À la retraite à Magog depuis 1980, il a dé-ménagé à Victoria en 1997 pour y rejoindre ses fils et petits-enfants. Norman a toujours pris le temps d'aider les autres même lorsque sa santé se dégradait. Il était un roi des cartes, surtout le bridge, passant de bons moments avec ses amis et sa famille. Norman nous manquera beau-coup. Les funérailles auront lieu le vendredi 28 novembre, à 14h en l'église Cordova Bay United à Victoria, C.-B. Le défunt laisse dans le deuil, son épouse, June; ses fils : Jim (Margaret Gauthier) et David (Fay Doucet); ses 4 petits-enfants : Laura, Andrew, Sage et Max, tous de Victo-ria; ses belles-soeurs : Joyce Broadbent et Gloria Broadbent de Magog et Shirley (Al-bert Cotterell) de Victoria; ainsi que plu-sieurs neveux, nièces et ami(e)s. LUCIE FORTIN-CAMPEAU est décédée le 21 novembre 2003 à sa résidence de Gatineau à l'âge de 73 ans. Elle était l'épouse de Gérald Campeau et la fille de feu Hector Fortin et de feu Laurette Hébert. Il n'y aura pas de visites à la maison funéraire. Le service religieux aura lieu en présences des cendres en l'église St-Joseph le jeudi 27 novembre 2003 à 11h.
