Peacefully passed away at St. Mary's Hospital on June 27, 2003, age eighty-eight years. Beloved husband of Giuseppina Rotili. Dear father of Giuliana (Vittorio), Carlo (Cathy) and Domenica (Zeno). He will be greatly missed by his many grandchildren Mike (Doris), Ricky (Pina), Roby (Ritsa), Domenico, Mauro, Giaucarlo and Natashia as well as nieces, nephews, many relatives and friends. Soeur de la Charité d’Halifax, est décédée à Halifax le 24 juin 2003, à l’âge de 88 ans. Ses funérailles ont eu lieu à la Maison Mère Mount St-Vincent, Halifax, le vendredi 27 juin 2003. Soeur Margaret consacra plusieurs années de sa vie religieuse ici à Québec. Elle a été directrice à St-Patrick’s Elementary School de 1954 à 1960. De plus, elle a été co-fondatrice à la résidence Elisabeth Seton Center-House of Prayer de 1979 à 2000, au 1130 Avenue de Bougainville, Québec. Soeur Margaret, vraie soeur de la Charité, a été bien connue et aimée de plusieurs personnes du Centre de Prière qui regrettent son départ. Nous lui disons «AUREVOIR». Richard James "Jimmy" Darling On June 7, 2003 in Inverary, in his 42nd year. The sudden loss of this loving son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and good friend was devastating. The son of Barbara (nee Bird) and the late Allison "Ally" Darling, Jimmy lived in the family home in Inverary for the past five years. He enjoyed socializing with friends, family and neighbours in the garage or basement or dropping in to visit at their homes. He was employed at Weston's Bakeries where he worked for approx imately fifteen years. . Jimmy is survived by his mother Barbara, brothers Ted (Trina) and Allen and sister Sharri; nephews and nieces, Corey (Keri), Tyler and Melissa Severin, Jerry, Amy, and Teddy Darling, Chris (Rachel) and Jennifer Darling; great nephew Jackson and best friend Mike Coghlan. FOISY, Leona-Of Bonfield, peacefully passed away in her home while surrounded by the love of her family, in her 82nd year, on June 27, 2003. Beloved wife of the late Eugene. Dearly loved mother of Wayne (Jeanne), Shirley Woodbury (Carl), Donald (Barb), Carol Michaud (Marcel), Marcus (Marg), Conrad (Steph) and daughter-in-law Liz. Leona will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by all including her 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Loving sister to Arnold Lavoie, Helen Haineault, Sr. Rita Lavoie, Albert Lavoie, Theresa Clouthier and Royal Lavoie. Leona is precedeased by daughter Lyle, son Kenneth and husband Eugene, as well as her parents Yvonne and Emereal Lavoie, sisters Aldora Lavoie, Alice Leyten, Margaret Heffernan, Viola Tutt and brothers Freddie and Leo Lavoie. Leona was born, raised and educated in Bircham, Alberta. Leona worked in neighbouring post offices until she married Eugene and moved east to Bonfield. This is where they cared for and raised their family of eight. Leona's cheerfulness, thoughtfulness and friendly smile were appreciated by everyone who knew her. She was a kind and generous woman who made everyone feel welcomed when they came to her home. You couldn't leave without having first been served a delicious meal or at least some homemade baking. Being a woman of great faith and strength, Leona was always able to provide comfort and support to her family and friends throughout her life. She accepted life's challenges and faced them with courage. She loved to live and to laugh. The love for her family and gardening were but a few of her most treasured joys. Over the years, Leona also worked outside the home for local businesses and part-time at both the Bonfield and Rutherglen Post Offices. She was a volunteer with the Golden Age Club and the Bonnes Oeuvres for 18 years. She truly enjoyed lending a helping hand and the friendships shared. Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road, Nepean (between Bayshore Drive and Baseline Road) on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday at 11 a.m. Cremation with inurnment later in Newfoundland. In lieu of flowers donations to the Elisabeth Bruyere Health Centre Palliative Care Unit would be appreciated.

TOUSIGNANT, Maurice Joseph (Moe) 82 Years old. Passed away on June 26th, 2003 after a lengthy battle with cancer, kidney failure and pneumonia. Son of the late Regina (Rose Laframboise) and Nazaire Tousignant. Loving husband of the late Helen Stapinski. He will be sadly missed by his son Ronald and wife Dianne (Soulliere), his grandson Maurice (Moe) and wife Deanna Pageau, his loving companion Barbara McMillan, his sister, Eva Burr, his brother Ray as well as many in-laws, nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased by sisters Alma, Stella and Laura and by brothers Ernie, Jack (Eugene), Edward and Leo. Maurice was a retired wood-pattern maker from Ford Motor Company, CAW 200 and a member of the Loyal Order of Moose #1499. Cremation has taken place.
