DAVLUT, Carl A. At his home, on Sunday, June 22, 2003, age 75 years. Beloved husband of Lucy; dear father of Gary of Winnipeg, Jo-Anne and her husband Peter Sibeth of Etobicoke, Curtis of Kitchener and Jeff and his wife Julie of Georgetown. HENDERSON, Elizabeth, June 22nd, 2003 with faith, family, love, hope and dignity, Elizabeth Mary Henderson (nee Ethier) lived her 92 years of life. She brought joy, love and light to everyone she touched. She will be remembered as a model of Christi an compassion and love, spending her "retirement" years in service to others... supporting various community endeavours, participating in church activities and celebrations. She loved to travel and enjoyed spending time with her "growing" family. She will forever live in the hearts of her son Bob Henderson and daughter Jane Aaviku, her sister Peggy Keast, her brother William Ethier and their families. Nana will be sadly missed by Derek Henderson, Lori Anne Major, Kim Felker and Eric Aaviku. Thre e new great-grandchildren, Thomas and Mathew Henderson and Joshua Major, brought much joy to her. Elizabeth leaves behind many nieces, nephews and friends whose family and careers she followed with great interest and pride. BOURGET Noel Lucien Noel Lucien Bourget, husband and best friend of Lori, and Dad to Casey passed away peacefully on June 22, 2003. Born in Montreal on December 17, 1956, Noel moved to Calgary in 1976, where he met and married Lori in 1979. Noel's greatest treasure, his daughter Casey, was born in 1985. Noel's family meant everything to him and it distressed him more what his illness was doing to his family, than himself. Noel had an unquenchable thirst for knowledge. He attended both the U of C and Concordia University. He enjoyed his science fiction, math, astronomy and physics. For the past several years he enjoyed being a Judge at the Youth Science Fair. Noel loved traveling with his family, camping, kayaking, playing guitar, learning to speak and read Japanese and making wine with his friend Bruce. Above all, he loved flying his Cessna. Besides Lori and Casey, Noel is survived by his brother Serge, and Mom Jeannine of Montreal and stepsister Suzanne (Dennis) Delorme of Winnipeg. Our Family's journey has been made easier by the outstanding support of so many wonderful friends. We wish to thank our employers, Auto-Trol Technology Canada and Apache Superior Printing. A very special thank you to Bruce Keffer and family, Sharon Attrill, and our family doctor and friend, Dr. Jane Govan. COURTEMANCHE, Jack Adolphous On Sunday June 22, 2003 Jack Courtemanche of Edmonton passed away peacefully with loved ones by his side at the age of 78 years, at St. Michael's Long Term Care Centre. Jack was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He is survived by his children, Maurice, Robert, Lorraine, Rose, Deborah, Catherine, Larry; his 18 grandchildren and his three great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Marion. HEBERT, MR. AURELE JOSEPH-The death of Mr. Aurele Joseph Hebert, loving husband of Laura (Poirier )Hebert, of Renforth, occurred on Sunday June 22, 2003 at the Saint John Regional Hospital, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born March 13, 1934 in Acadieville, NB, he was the son of the late Joseph and Arthemise ((LeBlanc) Hebert. Aurele was a carpenter by trade, retiring from Saint John Shipbuilding. He enjoyed fishing, camping and woodworking, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. He was also a member of the Assumption Center 30 Up Club. He is survived by his loving wife Laura, three sons Leo (friend) Karen (Godin) of Renforth, Yvon (Jacqueline) of West Saint John and John (Michelle) of Wells; two daughters Claudette (Jim) Maxwell of West Saint John and Rose (Dave) Stewart of Saint John; one brother Edgar Hebert of St. Ignace; five sisters Elva Richard, Rita Richard and Therese Daigle all of St. Louis de Kent, Lucie Richard of Moncton and Edith Robichaud of Massachusetts, US. Gertrude was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth Lloyd Checkland, also 2 brothers-in-law, historian Sydney Checkland and Rev. Edward Checkland. Lovingly remembered by her daughter, Dulcy (Mike) Huard of Victoria; grandchildren Chantal and Martin Huard of Victoria; one brother, Jack (Rita) Burke, of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario; one sister-in-law, Olive Checkland of England; and sister-in-law, Jean Checkland of Edmonton. Gertrude spent much of her life in Ottawa, where she married her childhood sweetheart. Rose was predeceased by her husband Russell Govereau; parents Mary-Ann and Emile Fleury, and her brother Leonard Fleury. She will be greatly missed by her brothers, Kenneth (Lorna) Fleury and Chester (Delores) Fleury; her aunts, Nellie Dumas and Agnes Lundstrom, her many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Rose was born in Crane River, MB on March 7, 1935 and moved to Winnipeg in her mid-twenties. She spent her working years in the garment industry until she married her husband Russell in 1974. Rose's life evolved around her children before and after her husband's death in 1982. She was well known for her community service which included her many years at the Freight House Community Centre (CWCI). Her love for her children and community was evident in the commitment she showed to both. Special thanks to the nurses and staff at Beacon Hill Lodge for their care in Rose's final days.
