Elle laisse dans le deuil deux soeurs: Lucie Richard (feu Marcel) de Saint-Ignace et Thérèse Moore (John) de Kentville, N.-É., ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces. Deux soeurs: Roseline (Danahy) Chiswell et Olympe Dugas (feu Ferdinand), ainsi que deux frères: Luc et Peter (Dorothy), l’ont précédée dans la tombe. Avant sa retraite, Mme Daigle a travaillé auprès de la famille O’Learly pendant plusieurs années. Born in St. Ignace, NB, he was the son of the late Albert Richard and Melina (Barrieau) Richard. He was a retired woodsman. He attended St. Ignace de Loyola Roman Catholic Church, St. Ignace. He is survived by three sisters, Alma Thébeau (late Telex), St. Ignace, Alfreda Richard (Léo), Rogersville and Jeanne Babineau (Léo-Paul), Bouctouche; three brothers, Eugene (Rosalie), St. Louis de Kent, Dolor (Emelie) and Elisée, both from St. Ignace. He was predeceased by three sisters, Delphine, Louise and Albertine; six brothers, Donat, Arthur, Leo, Willie, Roger and Gerard. Visitation will take place at Thompson Memorial Home, St. Louis de Kent Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, Wednesday from 2:00 pm until time of funeral. It's hard to say good-bye to a person that was loved so very much. JOLY, Charles Omer-On March 21, 2003, Charles Omer Joly of St. Albert passed away at the age of 77 years. Charles is survived by his loving wife of forty-nine years, Pauline; his children, Eric, Rica, and Renata; seven grandchildren, Natalie, Scott, David, Danielle, Alex, Rhea, and Bethany; three sisters, Betty, Sylvia, and Marie; three brothers, Fernie, Rene, and Victor; as well as numerous relatives and friends. LACHANCE, Léonie (née Shank) 1911-2003-A long time resident of Cache Bay. Passed away at the Au Chateau Home for the Aged, on Sunday, March 23, 2003, at the age of 91. Cherished wife of the late Lorenzo Lachance, (1985). Beloved mother of Léo (Colette), Lionel (Margaret), Rhéal (Colleen), Lucien (Vivian), and Raymond (Gisèle). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by 20 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Ruby Collin and May (Georges Paradis) of Sudbruy and Rita Malette of Cache Bay. Clifford Raymond Caird Passed away on January 2, 2003 in his 61st year. He was born in Kingston, the son of Raymond and the late Ola Caird. Clifford attended Red Rock Public School and Queen Elizabeth Collegiate Vocation Institute before taking a position with Smith & Smith Surveyors. Around 1967 he was employed with the Ministry of Environment Water and Sewer Plant where he stayed until ill health forced his retirement. He loved working on the family farm. He enjoyed horses, hunting, fishing, euchre, telling jokes, giving neighbours a helping hand and offering advice regarding farming and various other topics. Clifford was a member of Westbrook United Church where he served as a member of the board of trustees. He was also a member of Ontario Anglers and Hunters Foundation. He is survived by his father Raymond and sister Jean. Cifford was predeceased by his mother Ola. The funeral was held at Paul Payne Funeral Home on January 4, 2003 with Rev. Jeannie Oulton officiating. Pallbearers were Doug Gordon, Fred Chapman, John Edmunds, Myron Rogers, Charlie Pond, Allen Thompson, Barry Gulley, and Jack Larock. Il était membre du club chasse et pêche de la Rivière-au-Saumon Inc., membre du mouvement U.C.T., conseil 854 de Grand-Sault et était autrefois pompier volontaire de la brigade d’incendie de Grand-Sault. Il a été précédé par une soeur, Adrienne et un frère, Maurice. Outre son épouse, il laisse dans le deuil deux fils, Roland (Sylvia) de Caraquet et Allain de l’Alberta, un petit-fils, Patrick, trois soeurs, Odette Vautour (Charles) de Québec, Anne Daigle de Grand-Sault et Lynne Collette (Bill) de Moncton, belle-soeur, Marie-Ange Rioux de Grand-Sault, ainsi que des neveux et nièces. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and by 31 Godchildren. Louis was a dedicated parishioner of Holy Rosary Church for 80 years and a faithful servant of the parish for 45 years. He was an active member of The Sacred Heart Council #2319, Thorold, Knights of Columbus. He retired from the Exolon Company after 42 years in 1981 and was an involved member of the Thorold community and an avid Thorold Blackhawk fan. SAULNIER, Catherine Marie-91, St. Benoni, died March 22, 2003, in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Chelsea, Mass., she was the daughter of the late Dennis and Therese Comeau. Surviving are husband, Martin, St. Benoni; sons, Edouard, St. Benoni; Enos Comeau, Freeport; daughters, Pauline Comeau, d'Entremont Road; Rita Deveau, Clare Lake; Alma Maillet, Bangor; Aline Deveau, Bangor; brother, Freddie, Digby; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by brothers, Ernest, Ira. A private memorial service will be held in Sacred Heart Church, Saulnierville, Rev. Yvon Dionne officiating. Interment in the parish cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Meteghan Funeral Home.

René Labrie À l’Hôpital général de Québec, le 21 mars 2003, à l’âge de 81 ans et 6 mois est décédé M. René Labrie, époux de Laurette Marquis, fils de feu Albert Labrie et de feu Albertine Ménard. Il demeurait à Québec. Selon ses volontés, il ne sera pas exposé. La famille recevra les condoléances à l’église, 30 minutes avant la cérémonie. Le service religieux sera célébré en présence du corps le mardi 25 mars 2003 à 11h, en l’église Ste-Odile, 210, des Chênes Ouest, Québec, et de là au cimetière St-Charles, 1460, boul.
