Passed away, peacefully, after a short illness, on Friday, June 15, 2001, at West End Villa, in his 73rd year. He will be lovingly remembered by his sister Joyce (Malcolm Ellis), nieces Karin Mahoney, Lorna Brown, Madeleine Franey and nephew William Ellis, as well as many great-nieces and nephews, and a great-great niece. Although handicapped, Ken was a very active fundraiser for the Kidney Foundation, Alzheimer's Society and the West End Villa Family Support Group. Over the years, he raised funds for many other groups in the communities where he lived. At his request, there will be no funeral. A Memorial Service - celebration of his life - will be held at Faith Lutheran Church, 43 Meadowlands Drive, West, Nepean, on June 30, 2001 at 2 p.m. Donations to the West End Villa Family Support Group or the charity of your choice would be appreciated. Also survived by son-in-law Edward Marsh. Predeceased by her daughter Diane Young and parents Ruth and Andrew Tackney. Mrs. Walters was a dance instructor for many years with National Dancing in Scotland. She was also a member of the Hamilton Road Seniors Club and the Marshall Gowland Day Program. Selon ses volontés, il ne sera pas exposé. Un service religieux sera chanté le samedi 16 juin 2001 à 14h30, en l’église Sainte-Ursule, 3134, boul. Neilson, Sainte-Foy où la famille recevra les condoléances une heure avant la cérémonie. Passed away at The Jewish General Hospital on Thursday, June 14, 2001 at the age of forty-seven years. He leaves to mourn his son, Joseph Jr. and daughter Jennifer. Loving grandfather to Amanda and brother of Antonio, and sisters Geraldina and Rosie. He will be deeply missed by nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
