Of Bathurst, New Brunswick, passed away peacefully in his eighty-fifth year at the Griffith McConnell Residence on April 7, 2001. Pre-deceased by his sisters Edith Fletcher and Jean Lutes, and his brother Gordon. He is survived by his sister Margaret Howard. He was a fine gentleman and he will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews. He was an active fifty year member of the Masonic Order. Donations to the Griffith McConnell Residence would be appreciated. A memorial service will be held in Bathurst at the beginning of August. Well loved by his aunts, uncles and cousins. An avid bowler with the Special Olympics, he touched the lives of many and was well loved by all who knew him. He will be sorrily missed by all who loved him.
