Elle était la conjointe de Jean-Jacques Charron, la fille de feu Fridolin Coutu et de feu Maria St-Martin. Outre son conjoint, elle laisse dans la peine sa fille Sylvie Crépeau (Yves Lahaie); 1 frère, Marcel (feu Helen); 1 soeur, Gabrielle (Jean Paradis); 1 neveu, Kenneth Coutu (Lyne); 1 nièce, Natasha Coutu (Brad); les membres de la famille de son conjoint ainsi que ses nombreux amis tout spécialement 2 bonnes amies: Louise et Hélène. Un merci spécial au personnel du 7e nord du CHVO Gatineau pour les excellents soins prodigués avec dignité à Mme Coutu. Un merci également à tous ses collègues de la Caisse Desjardins de Gatineau pour leur soutien. Mme Coutu était membre des Filles d'Isabelle, cercle 674 St-Jean-Vianney, Gatineau. DOUGLAS, Inez Anita (nee Duffy) Suddenly, on Wednesday, October 22, 2008, at the Ottawa Heart Institute, surrounded by the love and concern of family and friends, at the age of 70. Inez was the beloved daughter of the late William and Ruby Duffy (nee Donnelly). Cherished mother of Donna (Paul) Boivin of Brockville, Inez was predeceased by her loving husband Cyril Connon Douglas. Inez will be sadly missed by her two grandchildren Trevor and Mandy Boivin, also of Brockville. Inez was also predeceased by her brother Dorland Bruce Duffy. Dear sister to Murray (late Hazel) Duffy of Smiths Falls, Marvin (Eunice) Duffy and Gloria (late Donald) Barr, both of Rideau Ferry, Nadine Duffy, Delores Duffy (Wayne Warwick) all of Wemyss. Inez will be fondly remembered as a LADY, in the true meaning of the word. She was a caring, bubbly, happy person, who lived to serve others especially her beloved family. She was known to be feisty and daring, and always in control of her own ship, but her caring and compassion was evident to all who knew and loved her. Inez had a generous soul which allowed her easily reach out to those less fortunate around her. She became a Foster Parent for two African children, and she cherished her quality time with Dakota, her beautiful Sheltie dog. Inez was known in the Duffy Sisterhood as "Mother Superior", a title which she proudly shared with her sister Gloria. Inez touched many people in various walks of life during her 70 years with us, she will be sadly missed but never forgotten. HEINZE, Jean Marie (nee Heath) JEAN MARIE HEINZE (nee Heath) 65 of Ottawa, Ontario, suddenly and unexpectedly while vacationing in Sherwood Park, AB was called to the Lord's eternal banquet on Sunday, October 19, 2008. Beloved wife of 46 years and best friend of Ted Heinze; she leaves to mourn their children: Beth (Steve Bigras) of Ottawa, ON, Tim (Christina) of Sherwood Park, AB, Ted Jr. of Etobikoke, ON and Tom (Leah) of Milton, ON; also her precious grandchildren: Theo, David, and Claire. Predeceased by her parents Luella and John; Lillian and Walter; and her brother Ray. She is survived (in the USA) by sisters: Janet, Judy and Joanne; brother Charles; brother and sister-in-law Philip and Carolin Heinze of Kitchener. Jean will be sadly missed by all her family and many friends. Among them, many parishioners at the churches where she shared her gentle, joyous faith and love in the North Bay, Ontario area; Bethel, Edmonton; Aurora and then Stratford, Ontario; in the New Germany, Nova Scotia area parish; Zion Pembroke, Ontario; and most recent in retirement with Ted in the Ladysmith Schwartz parish, Quebec. HUMBLE, Robert William Joseph On October 21, 2008 in Alexandria, Ontario at the age of 84. Beloved husband of 64 years of Edna Kollesh (died 2007), dear father of Stephen of Dalhousie Mills and Richard of Toronto, grandfather of Keir and Kristopher, great-grandfather of Tristan and Jasmin. Predeceased by his parents, Ernest and Amelia Humble, and two sisters, Isabel (Jones) and Phyllis (Lebeau). Survived by sisters Margaret (Hopper) and Marion (Kozolanka) and many nieces and nephews. Born in Ottawa, graduate of Ottawa Technical High School, cinema cameraman and director at the National Film Board for 43 years, served in WWII as a photographer and lieutenant in Special Branch, RCNVR. Member of the Cinemaphotographers Society of Canada, CB radio operator, a great reader of history, and a very dear man, he will be missed by many, including his much loved pets, Burton, Mama, Oliver and Frosty. NITSCHKY, Mary Georgine (Peggy) nee Paquette Passed away on October 21, 2008 at the age of 80, at the Perley Rideau Veterans' Health Centre with loved ones at her side. She is survived by George, her husband of 58 years and was a loving mother to Linda, Gary, Geordie and Stephen (Sheila). A devoted Granny to Paddy, Aleisha and Ryan. Peggy will be fondly thought of by the families of her brothers Bob (Lucille) and Dick (Sandy) and by her sisters Jeanette Barber and Adele Rochon. She was predeceased by her brothers Lou (Annette) and Jim and by her sisters Louise (Earl) Johnson and Mary-Lou (Dick) Hinks. Peggy will always be remembered for her love of family, friends and fun. As a first class home maker, she was at her very best organizing parties and special Sunday dinners. For fun she enjoyed knitting, bowling, darts, any card game, bingos and the occasional visit to the Casino. Her family would like to express a very special and sincere thank you to all of the staff at the Perley Rideau Veterans' Health Centre, especially those guardian angels in O2W, for their dedicated and attentive TLC and the many kindnesses they have shown Peggy during her stay with them. There will be no visitation. The interment of cremated remains at the Notre Dame Cemetery will be private. He was born on June 9, 1927 in Montreal to Henri and Florence Poirier. His career spanned more than 45 years in the advertising and promotion business. Gordon was Past President of Camp Otoreke, of the Fossils Club, of the Nutmeg Curling Club and was involved in community service. CRABTREE, Alan Hanson Q.C. (1923 - 2008) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father Alan who died peacefully surrounded by family October 18 at the age of 85. He will be dearly missed by his son John Charles Crabtree, his daughter Dr. Ann Elizabeth Crabtree, his son in law Dr. Greg Storwick, grandchildren Vhari, Lauren, Michael and Thomas. He will be fondly remembered by his second wife Patricia Anne Snow with whom he travelled extensively and his stepson Chris Snow and his family. Alan will be dearly missed by his brother Peter and sister in law Bobbie of Crabtree Publishing, his nieces and nephew Marc, Carolyn, Andrea, Samantha, their families and sister in law Suzanne. Born on July 22, 1923 Alan was the middle son of Edith and Maurice Crabtree of Toronto. Pilot Officer Alan Crabtree served in WWII, flying a Lancaster in Five Group with Bomber Command Squadron 189. Upon returning to Canada Alan attended Osgoode Hall class of 1951 and practiced law with his late father Maurice Crabtree, M.C., K.C. a WWI veteran. Alan was predeceased by his older brother Charles Maurice Crabtree who was killed in action in WWII, and lives on in family stories. Alan is also fondly remembered by Alice Crabtree, his first wife and mother of his children. Our whole family is very grateful to Victoria Lazaro and her family. Dorothy Lillian Martin (Jones) passed away at the age of 94 at the Leacock Care Centre, Orillia on Thursday, October 23, 2008. She was the loving mother of Judith Anne Demuth (Harry) and Robert Stanley (Nadine) and loving grandmother of Kristin (Stephen), Colin (Jennifer) and Amanda, Matthew, Jay (Christie), Andrew and Spencer, and great grandmother of Taryn. Predeceased by her sister Helen (Jones) and survived by her loving niece Linda Jones-Paul (Ralph). Dorothy was a long time volunteer at the Toronto East General Hospital. She and Stan enjoyed twenty-six years wintering in Maple Leaf Estates, Port Charlotte, Florida where she always loved a good party.
