Audrey Margret Alldred On October 20, 2008 Audrey Margret Alldred died suddenly at the Northview Nursing Home. She was born to Stanley and Urana Osborne in Charlton on December 2, 1919. Educated at Savard School, she married John Alldred in Englehart on July 17, 1959. Mrs. Alldred was a member of the United Church. She is survived by her daughter June McAllister (James) of Bracebridge; sister Mary Tilley of Oshawa and sister-in-law Muriel Osborne; and by 10 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sons Charles and Archie, husband John Alldred, her parents, brothers Gordon, Douglas and Ken and her sister Alice. The funeral was arranged by McDonald Funeral Home in Englehart where the service will be conducted Wednesday, October 22 at 1 p. m. by Jessica Cottrell. Pallbearers are Thomas McAllister, Richard Osborne, Mathew Gardner and Brian Leeder. Burial is at the Charlton Cemetery. Loving husband of Mary Ann, deceased, son of Clayton and Helen both predeceased, of Picton. Brother of Catherine and Marguerite of Toronto and Lucille of Picton all predeceased. 1941 - 2008 Delorese Manuel, 67, of Baie Ste-Anne passed away on Friday, October 17th 2008 at the George L Dumont Hospital after a courageous battle with Kidney disease. Married to Elias Manuel, she was born on February 21st 1941 to the late Alcide Martin and the late Marie Lucie 'Robichaud' Martin. She is survived by one daughter Monique McGeachy (Marc) of Dieppe, and two sons, Mario (Rachel) of Baie Ste Anne, and Michael (Sharon) of Dieppe, Delorese has seven grandchildren Chelsea, Samantha, Jonathan, Brandon, Emma Alyssa, and Celeste. Delorese was predeceased by her son Paul-Andre (Jenny) Manuel. Visitation will be held on Monday October 20th at the Baie Ste Anne Slumberoom from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and on Tuesday from 2 to 4. Funeral will be held at St Anne Church in Baie Ste Anne at four o'clock with Fr Robert Savoie officiating. Active Pallbearers were Etienne Manuel, Richard Manuel, Lucien Hachey, Ariste Schofield, Ligourie Turbide, and Gilles Daigle. Mr. Frank Simon Ryan of Miramichi Senior Citizens Home, formerly of Travis Street, Douglastown, passed away Saturday October 18, 2008 at his late residence, at the age of 87. Born in Newcastle NB, he was the son of the late Andrew & Rose (Duffy) Ryan. He was self employed in maintenance and sales of Air Conditioning Systems. He was a member of St Samuel's Roman Catholic Church. He was a member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 10. He was a veteran of WW2. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He is survived by one daughter; Karen Matchett (Larry) of Sillikers; two sons; Trenton (Penny) of Brampton; David (Kristen) of Abbortsford BC; ten grandchildren; Wayne, Shaun, Theresa, Gavin, Leanne, Lacey, Laura, Nicholas, Benjamin & Nayden; seven great grandchildren; Brandon, Ashleigh, Abigail, Mckayla, Amber, Alexia & Lucas. VIENO, LUCILLE 1966 - 2008 After a courageous battle with cancer, Lucille passed away on Friday October 24, 2008 at home surrounded by her loving family at the age of 42. She leaves behind her beloved husband David Wilson, her beautiful daughters Julie and Amanda Kingsbury, her wonderful step-son Justin Wilson and her precious dog Buster. She was predeceased by her godmother Carol. Lucille was employed at A & P at the courtesy desk for 18 years where she left a lasting impression with everyone she met. SHARMA, Dr. Manohar Lal (Daddy) April 13, 1919 - October 22, 2008 It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend at the age of 89 years. Daddy, as most of us knew him, passed away peacefully from natural causes on October 22, 2008. He is survived by his family and friends in Canada and around the world. Throughout his life, Daddy not only touched the lives of humans but also of animals. As a well respected veterinary doctor working in both India and Nepal, Daddy dedicated most of his adult life to advancing veterinary research and even lived away from his family for many years in Nepal to further this ambition. His passion allowed him to be the first to introduce artificial insemination for animals in India. His love for learning was easy to spot through his depth of knowledge about the world. He also loved taking long walks and enjoyed nature. Daddy is best known, however, for being a devoted family man and someone who always had a giving nature. His family will always remember his caring nature and his dedication to life. She was the youngest of three children. She grew up in Dahlton, SK and attended high school in Naicam, SK. Donna finished her Grade 12 and furthered her education at a business college in Saskatoon. Here she made many special friends and unto her two daughters were born. She moved to Calgary, AB in 1998 and again making many special friends. But her heart was always in Saskatchewan with plans of retiring and moving back there some day. She will be sadly missed by: her daughters Sheri (Cory) Huska of Slave Lake, AB, Brenda (Denis) Sunderland of Naicam, SK; five grandchildren Jordan Huska, Kaitlyn Huska, Kegan Sunderland, Taylor Sunderland, Jenelle Sunderland; brother Floyd (June) Dahl of Royston, BC; sister Faye Craig of Saskatoon, SK; as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and co-workers. She was predeceased by her father Ole Dahl, mother Jessie Dahl, common-law husband Jim Sullivan, father-in-law Terry Sullivan and brother-in-law Warren Craig. Memorial Services will be held at the Dahlton Lutheran Church in Dahlton, SK on Saturday, October 25, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation. HENDERSON, Robert (Bev) January 10, 1932 - October 21, 2008 Mr. Robert (Bev) Henderson, a longtime resident of High River, passed away surrounded by his family at the Claresholm Hospital on October 21, 2008 at the age of 76 years. Bob will be dearly missed by his wife of fifty-four years, Chris; his children, Deb (John) Gross, Diane (Mike) Williamson and Rob (Lee Anne) Henderson all of High River. His memory will always be cherished by his grandchildren, Ken, Kim, Charli, David, Sam, Bobby and Jorja. Bob is also survived by his sister Alice Hanna of Kingston, ON and brother Bill Henderson of Vulcan as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his grandchildren Mark Gammel and Kendra Smith. Bob had a long career with the Canadian Military spanning from 1947 when he enlisted until his retirement 1977. He was a longtime member of the Royal Canadian Legion No. 71. THOMAS, Norman Caradoc. 1914-2008 Peacefully passed away on October 21 at the age of ninety-three. Predeceased by Eileen (Rowe) and daughter Lorraine (Jacobs), sisters May, Doris and brother Roy. Survived by his son David (Suzanne). Norm retired as paymaster at Nortel Networks Cable Division Lachine where he worked for thirty seven years. He was an active part of Legion 57 and was also a member of the Buffalo Dart League in Lachine. He will be sadly missed by all those whom his gentle and loving heart touched. STEWART, Kathleen Sybil Agnes Died quickly in her home Tuesday, October 21, 2008. Kathleen Sybil Agnes Stewart, daughter of William Hugh French and Eva Kathleen (Martin) French of Regina was born July 12, 1915. Predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Dr. Chester B. Stewart, born in Norboro, P.E.I. They built a home in Stanley Bridge, P.E.I., where they spent many long summer holidays. Kathleen is survived by daughter Joan and her husband, D. Lionel Teed, of Fredericton and their children: Jennifer (Teed) and Chris Atkinson of Fredericton, Zoe and Ben; Sarah (Teed) and Burns Kimball of Saint John, Jeremy and Nathan; Gerald Teed and Eva Walker of Fredericton; Moira (Teed) and Cameron Ketchum of Ottawa; by daughter, Moira and her husband Thomas R. Freeman of London, Ontario, and their children: Kate a social worker in Boston and Amy a nurse in Sydney, Australia. Her sister, Aroon Dixon Nordheimer, died November 21, 2003. There are two nieces Jane Pedersen of Calgary and Jill Whitmore of Regina and a nephew Dr. Charles Dixon of Calgary. The funeral will be held at the Presbyterian Church of St David, Brunswick Street, Halifax, at 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 1, 2008, a reception to follow in the church hall. Interment in P.E.I. at the Summerfield United Church Cemetery in the summer of 2009. The family wishes to thank the doctors whose care has been exemplary, Dr. Donna Curry and recently Dr. Margaret Leighton; and the two wonderful caregivers in her home, Leona Kendall and Susan Osmond.
