KEESHIG, Luke - Suddenly, at his Cape Croker residence on Friday, April 20th, 2007. Luke Edward Keeshig in his 76th year. Loving father of Gregor Keeshig; Willis Keeshig and his partner Grace; Dorene Keeshig; Arlene Keeshig; Nolan Keeshig; Susan Keeshig and her partner Cheryl; Steve Keeshig and his partner Kim; Terry Keeshig; and Denise Waukey. Luke will be forever missed by his 22 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Much loved brother of Dorothy Keeshig; Donald Keeshig and his wife Keitha; and Mickey Keeshig. Luke will be sadly missed by his wife Alfreda Keeshig (nee Waukey); his sister-in-law Clara; nieces; nephews; and many friends. Predeceased by his parents Gregor and Mary; two sons Kelly and Don; one daughter Margaret Good; two brothers Randolph and Eugene; two sisters Clartey and Delina; one half-brother Clark; one half-sister Reta; and two brothers-in-law Rudy and Leonard. LESSARD, Stafford - Passed away peacefully at the Port Colborne Hospital on Sunday April 22, 2007 in his 91st year. Beloved husband of Jamesina (Jaye) with whom he had shared 58 years of marriage. Cherished father of Bob Lessard (Arlene) of Port Colborne, Louise Anne of Toronto and Elaine Scriven (Bill) of Woodstock, Ontario. Much loved Grandpa of Brett and Chelsea Scriven, he will be sadly missed. Stafford was a kind and loving husband and father, a wonderful inspiration for his children and always knew how to make his grandchildren smile. He is the dear brother of Veronica Kelly (John) of Kingston and is survived by several nieces and nephews. Stafford was the son of the late Francis and Dora Lessard of Flinton, Ontario and was also predeceased by four brothers, Almonde, Clayton, Harold and Raymond and by a sister, Madeline. Stafford came to Port Colborne in 1941 and was employed at Inco for 36 years until his retirement in 1977. He was a veteran of World War II, having served overseas for several years and was a long-time member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 56. GREEN, Raymond F.S. - In loving memory of Raymond F.S. Green, 64 years of Whitefish, who passed away Sunday, April 22nd, 2007 at the SRH-Memorial Site. Born in Toronto he married Patricia (Gauthier) in 1963 in Whitefish. Ray came to the Sudbury area as a boy. He was a longtime and well respected Whitefish resident. He was a miner at INCO retiring from the Crean Hill Mine in 1997 with 33 yrs service. He had a passion for genealogy which he pursued with his grandson Robbie. A proud Canadian, he served in the Canadian Army. Always quick to help others, he was an active member of the Mended Hearts Association. He was an avid gardener. A devout Roman Catholic, he belonged to St. Christopher's Church where he assisted in the liturgy. Ray will be remembered as a determined and thoughtfull person whose opinions and ideas inspired, encouraged and challenged others. His letters to the editor were well read and appreciated for their clarity and advocacy. He was devoted to his loving family. Beloved husband of Patricia (Gauthier) Green of Whitefish. Loving father of Michael Green (Heidi) and Veronica McCauley (Don) both of Whitefish. Cherished grandfather of Robbie, Stephanie and Miranda. Dear son of Fred and Lorraine Green predeceased.
